They were on the couch once more. The twos favorite place. It was quiet, like always, Blue was pretty sure Red was asleep next to him. His breathing was even, he wasn't moving around like he usually does.
The quiet nights on the couch got more and more frequent Blue had noticed. Red would come home more wasted than the night before, if that was even possible, and he would get on the couch right next to Blue and pass out. Sometimes though, he didn't pass out, imidiatly at least. Red would take Blue's hand and stroke it gently, he would go to his arm too and back down. Blue loved those moments, he would never admit to that, not to Red, not to himself. It was a feeling deep down that was threatening to bust out every time.
When the thouching got too much for Blue, he simply got up from his place and left for his room, without a word to his friend. Red never minded since he was so drunk he didn't even know what he was doing.

-AAAAAAHH! - Blue screamed when a knife almost split his head in half, he was pulled down by Red just in time.
- DUDE STOP SCREAMING AND RUN- AAAH!!? - Red scolded his friend when an arrow almost met his eye.
They were running from some ninja demons? Wtf had Red put them in again? That's what happens when you decide that stealing ancient artifacts was a good idea.
The two kept running up the stairs of the shady underground store Red had brought them to. It was dark, and the ninjas were popping up from every corner.
- DUDE WHY DID YOU HAVE TO TOUCH THAT THING!? - Blue was furious, all he wanted to do was relax after an exhausting day at work. But nooooo Red had to drag him a long for a stupid "adventure".
- SHIT UP, IT WAS SHINY!! YOU KNOW I HAD TO! - Red defended himself, while jumping on top of an old table to dodge yet another knife that was thrown at him.
- CAN'T YOU FOR ONCE JUST... NOT!? - they kept going at it, hoping soon the exit will appear and they'll be out of there.
Blue had noticed the things following them couldn't go through light. So whenever Blue saw a switch on the wall he tried it, hoping some lightbulb will be working. Lucky for the both of them a few did work, which gave them a window of a few second before the ninja demons were back on their tail.
- RED WHERE THE FUCK IS THE EXIT!? YOU SAID YOU MEMORIEZED THE MAP! - the taller of the two screamed, while pulling his friend up from the ground cus he had tripped on something.
- YEAH... WELL I DID... BUT I DON'T ANYMORE, DUDE THE SITUATION IS SO STRESSFUL WHAT DO YOU WANAAAAAH- more excuses Blue thought angerly, then he saw a flickering light in the distance.
Hoping there would be a switch there, Blue started looking around the walls as they were nearing it. They were right before the light, when it suddenly went out. Blue had spotted the switch but in the sudden darkness he lost sight of it.
- Well nothing to lose I guess! - he whisper-shouted to himself and streached out his arm to the wall, he didn't feel it instantly, his fingers moved along the wall and there it was, the switch. Blue flipped it before his brain could even register that it was there.
In that same second a lightbulb right above the two light up. Blue was ready to run faster than before knowing the ninjas would adjust to the light and go around it in no more than 2 seconds. He didn't have time for that.
Instead he was grabbed by the arm and thrown in a drake small room, soon followed by Red, who was hushing him before Blue could even think of protesting.
The ninjas didn't see them go in, thanks to Red(oof that one hurt to say).
They were chest to chest, none of them dared to move. Blue had covered his mouth with his free hand, and Red had his head turned to the doors. After a few more second for nothing happening, both boys released a breathe they didn't know they were holding in.
