This could have been my third time visiting Delhi, if suddenly I didn't get the message telling me to come to haryana instead...last two times in Delhi, I already covered Qutub minar, Red fort, India gate and other mughal era monuments...
And also, the notable IRON PILLAR...which immensely fascinated me...
I've also visited Indraprastha before...also Hastinapur, yep places mentioned in mahabharat...that's where my peak interest lies...But...this time is different...my archeologist uncle who previously called me to visit Delhi again this vacation, suddenly mailed me a ticket for a flight going to haryana...saying there's something that might interest me...
And there I go...after a long visit at kurukhetra, we stand here, at IKKAS...
He said this is the place where duryodhana died, the great "Dwaipayana sarovaar"'Prati? Are you done looking at?'
The man standing behind me uttered, I turned around. Annoyance is clearly written in his face.'Um? Uncle? you asked something?' I replied in a monotonous fashion.
- 'On the name of God...Prati! Please stop wandering around now.'
Said the man.- 'But we just got here...' I tried to protest
-'Please!!! It's been 3 hours...Don't you have studies?' He showed me his watch.
Suddenly something rang in my brain
-'Huh? WHOLE 3 HOURS!!!' I almost screamed.-'Yep...WHOLE 3 HOURS...'
the man huffed after saying this.- 'Gosh!!! It's so amazing!!! Can't believe...this trip was the best of'em all...
Yaaaaaaa!!!!'
I can hear my scream echoed through the area.
Really hard to believe I spent so much time in that place just sitting and looking at the scenery of the lake...there's nothing much interesting to see, just a big green lake and some houses at its other bank...but, somehow it's attracting my mind more than it should.
It never happened when I visited Kurukhetra, Hastinapur and Indraprastha before.
But, this place...it's making me just sit there and look.- 'Please! Prati! Hurry up. Our flight is just one hour from now...we need to return.' Uncle's annoyance turned into desperation.
It somehow made me laugh.
-' Can't we board the next flight please.' I teased the man with a cocky smile.
The man facing me suddenly took out his phone and started dialing some number. After he's done, he faced the phone towards me...
I look at the screen and recognized the number immediately, MOM!!! NO!!! PLEASE!!! I yelled out.
He used his ultimate weapon against me.'Good...now come with me.' He returned the same cocky smile I gave him moments ago.
Me and my uncle were born just 5 years apart. He's actually my distant relative...the son of my granny's sister. But strangely nothing between us is like that distant. We're basically like some good friends...who meet oy once or twice in a year. So we have a different kind of relationship between us. That's the reason, annoying him is my favourite thing.
'Cerrrrreeeeeeennnggggg' Suddenly a sound startled me...as if it wants to burst off my ear membranes...not only me even the person walking in front of me, seemed to be tripped hearing that...
'OH! CRAP' He curses, before picking up his phone as soon as possible.
'Oye! Hello!' He spoke in a harsh tone...
"What's the matter now?" He turned around to face me...his face more annoyed than it was some moments ago.
"Yeah! Okay! I'll stay..." *click He cuts the phone without any further chance to converse.
He takes a deep breath and then said, "Well sorry for that...I mean the ringtone..."
