Tyler sat in his car, staring at the road ahead of him. He had just finished his final semester of college and he was supposed to be heading back home to his family.. but instead, he found himself driving away from Canada in general.
He had always felt suffocated by the expectations of others and the pressure to conform. He wanted to break free and find himself, but he knew that he couldn't do that while still living in the same town, surrounded by the same people.
So, he made the impulsive decision to leave without telling anyone. He didn't even leave a note for Lindsay or Alejandro, and he knew that was a cowardly move, but he couldn't bring himself to face them and explain his actions.
As he drove further and further away, he felt a sense of relief wash over him. He was finally free from the expectations and responsibilities that had weighed him down for so long.
But as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, Tyler couldn't help but think about the people he had left behind. He thought about his girlfriend, who had always been there for him, and his son, who he loved more than anything in the world. And then there was Alejandro, his roomate who had turned into something more.
But Tyler knew that Alejandro wanted more than just sex. He wanted a real relationship, and Tyler wasn't sure he was ready for that.. ready to breakup with Lindsay. He was scared of commitment and he didn't want to hurt anyone, so he had pushed Alejandro away and distanced himself from him.
Now, as he drove back to Canada after ten years, he couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt and regret. He wondered how everyone was doing and if they had moved on without him. He wondered if they even remembered him.
As he walked into a club, trying to drown out his thoughts with loud music and alcohol, he suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see a familiar face, but it took him a few seconds to place it.
'Alejandro?' Tyler said, his eyes widening in surprise.
Tyler's heart skipped a beat as he looked at the man in front of him. Alejandro had changed a lot in the past ten years, but he was still as handsome as ever.
'Do i know you-? You look familiar,' Alejandro said, a hint of confusion in his voice.
Tyler hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to explain his sudden disappearance. But before he could come up with an excuse, Alejandro's face lit up in recognition.
'Its you- Tyler-!' Alejandro exclaimed with a small smile.
Tyler's heart sank as he realized that Alejandro had never forgotten him. He had always held onto that one night they had spent together, even after all these years.
'Yeah, it's me,' Tyler said, trying to keep his voice steady.
Alejandro's expression turned from surprise to anger as he took in Tyler's appearance. He looked rough and worn out, and Alejandro couldn't help but feel angry at him for leaving without a word.
'You just disappeared without a trace, pedejo!' Alejandro said, his voice shaking with emotion. 'You didn't even say goodbye.'
'I know,' Tyler said, feeling guilty. 'I'm sorry, I was just...scared.'
'Scared? Of what?' Alejandro asked, his anger turning into confusion.
'Of everything,' Tyler said, his voice barely above a whisper. 'I was scared of commitment, of hurting you, of not living up to everyone's expectations. I was just...lost.'
Alejandro's expression softened as he listened to Tyler's words. He could see the pain and vulnerability in his eyes, and he couldn't help but feel his anger melting away.
'I was hurt,' Alejandro said, his voice barely audible but his accent loud. 'I never got to tell you how I felt, how much I wanted to be more than just a guy you had sex with every week..'
Tyler's heart ached as he heard Alejandro's words. He had always known that he had feelings for him, but he had been too scared to acknowledge them. And now, it seemed like it was too late.
But before he could say anything, Alejandro grabbed his hand and led him to the bathroom stall. Tyler's heart raced as Alejandro pushed him against the wall and kissed him passionately.
Their hands roamed each other's bodies as they gave in to their desire and pent-up emotions. The hate and anger that had been building up between them for the past ten years turned into passion and longing.
They ended up having rough, long sex in that bathroom stall, unable to keep their hands off each other. And as they lay there, breathless and spent, Tyler finally spilled everything.
He told Alejandro about his fears and insecurities, about how he had never stopped thinking about him, and about how he regretted leaving without a word.
Alejandro listened to him with tears in his eyes, and he couldn't help but forgive him. He had never stopped loving Tyler, and now that he had him back, he wasn't going to let him go again.
As they left the club together, hand in hand, Tyler knew that he had finally found his way back to society. But this time, he wasn't alone. He had Alejandro by his side, and he knew that with him, he could face anything.
he could even face Lindsay after leaving her for 10 years
