here's ya once in a lifetime post of this story 😋//

Tyler sat nervously in his car, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. He had been driving around for the past hour, trying to find the courage to do what he had been avoiding for the past 10 years. He was finally going to meet his son, Wayne.

As he pulled into the parking lot of the local fast food restaurant, his heart was pounding with anticipation and fear. He took a deep breath and stepped out of the car, making his way towards the entrance.

Inside, Wayne was sitting at a booth, his eyes scanning the door anxiously. Tyler could see the resemblance between them, the same dark hair and piercing blue eyes. He could feel his heart swell with love and regret as he approached the table.

'Hi, Wayne,' Tyler said, trying to keep his voice steady.

Wayne's face lit up with a smile as he stood up to greet his father. 'Hi, Dad,' he said, his voice filled with excitement.

They sat down and began to talk, catching up on lost time. Wayne eagerly told Tyler about his hobbies and interests, and Tyler listened intently, hanging on to every word.

But their peaceful reunion was suddenly interrupted by the sound of angry footsteps. Tyler turned to see Lindsay storming towards their table.

'What the hell are you doing here?' she yelled, her face contorted with anger.

Tyler stood up, his heart sinking at the sight of his ex-girlfriend. 'I just wanted to see my son,' he said, his voice shaking.

Lindsay scoffed. 'I told you he didn't want to see you. He's better off without you in his life.'

Tyler's heart shattered at her words, but he refused to back down. 'I have a right to see my son, Lindsay.'

Lindsay's eyes narrowed. 'Oh, like you had a right to abandon him for 10 years?' she spat.

Tyler was taken aback by her words, but before he could respond, Lindsay blurted out the words that he had feared for so long. 'And let's not forget the fact that he might not even be your son. I cheated on you, Tyler- with some guy names Jake- Jason? I don't know... he was on the basketball team"

Tyler's world came crashing down at that moment. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. His mind was racing, trying to process the information. He looked at Wayne, who was staring at him with confusion and sadness in his eyes.

Without another word, Tyler stood up and walked out of the restaurant. He couldn't handle the truth and the pain that came with it. As he drove away, he couldn't help but think about the son that he may have lost forever.

Meanwhile, Wayne sat at the table, tears streaming down his face. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. His whole world had been turned upside down in a matter of minutes. He couldn't understand why his mother had kept this from him and why his father had been absent for so long.

As the reality of the situation sunk in, Wayne made a decision. He was going to find his father and get to know him, no matter what the truth may be. Because in the end, all he wanted was a relationship with the man who was supposed to be his dad.
