The Last Of His Kind: A Naruto Story

When i woke up i was in a hospital room. I hate hospital's ever since i was a baby. I looked over to my right to see to my surprise that Sasuke was sleeping in a chair next to the window. Then i looked over to my left to see Naruto, Sakura, and Ino. I was surprised to see them all here and how long have i been out.

Just as i thought that the window to my right opened to see dad coming through it i smiled then said.

Andrew: Can't you use the door like a regular human being?

He looked at me then came over to hug me which i did the same with him. After we parted i looked to the others who was still asleep then back to dad as i spoke.

Andrew: How long have they been here?

Dad: They have been here ever since we got back....

Andrew: How long have i been out?

Dad: You've been out for 3 days......

I sighed heavily as i lay mu head back down and massaged my eyes as dad spoke again.

Dad: Why did you wait so long to finay use the sharingan?

I raised my head and looked back at dad and was about to speak when i head groans. We looked over to see the others waking up. When they saw me awake they all smiled and ran up to me and crushed me with a group hug. Even Sasuke did too, which was out of character but i fought through the pain and hugged them back. I looked over to dad to see him smiling at what was going on.

Just then a nurse came in and saw what was going on and said.

Nurse: Ok! That's enough, get off of him before you worsen his injuries.

They all listened and got off of me except Sakura and Ino i looked down at them to see that they had tears in their eyes as i held them close. Then after a moment they got up off of me and the nurse came over and checked me out. After she was done she looked back at me then said.

Nurse: Ok Mr. Hakate, you are still weak and that stab wound isn't fully healed yet so we will keep you for another day.

I nodded to her as she walked out of the room leaving us alone. I looked back over to the others to see that they all were looking at me then Sasuke spoke.

Sasuke: .... How?

I tilted my head at the statement then said.

Andrew: How what?

Before he could say anything Naruto spoke.

Naruto: He means how did you get the sharingan!

He yelled at me i sighed heavily as i looked up to the ceiling then back down to them and all of them were waiting for the answer. I looked over to dad and he leaned down to me and whispered in my ear.

Dad; (Whispering) I think it's time you told them the truth son?

I looked back at dad and took in a deep breath then let it out and nodded at him. I turned my attention back to the others and i spoke.

Andrew: Ok you want the truth?

I said as i looked at all of them now sitting in chairs close to my bed as dad sat on the windowsill  as they all nodded.

I took in another deep breath then let it out as i spoke.

Andrew: Well it was like this........
