Epilogue:
"After that day, I lived with Esseshi and his family, on their home planet. I learnt all about the place. Its beautiful sights, it's wonderful wildlife. I met the other members of Esseshi's family, like his dad, Karash. And while I had a lot of trouble fitting it, I never once regretted coming here. And so today I sit here on this cliff with you, my hand around the shoulder of Esseshi, who sits here next to me. That feather he gave me all those years ago hanging from my neck like a piece of jewelry, for it means more than any simple jewel. So, Ihreet, you've asked a few times now, and so, there it is. The full story of how I met Esseshi, of how I met you. I hope you liked it."
I reach out, poking Ihreet between the nostrils. He gives a hacking chuckle.
"I liked it. You always tell the best stories, Avrashi!"
