JIMIN POV

He practically leapt into
Jungkook's arms as soon as
he opened the door.

"Pop is asleep, so we've gotta
be sort of quiet but I'm really glad you came over." Jimin
said, pulling Jungkook inside
the house.

"It's ridiculous that I've
missed seeing you since just
a few hours ago, isn't it?"

"If it is, then we're both ridiculous." Jungkook grinned.

"Because I feel the same
way."

Jimin stole a quick kiss and
then mirrored Jungkook's
smile.

"I'm still in shock over what
your dad said."

"That's so amazing."

"I can't even imagine how
you must feel right now."

"Like the luckiest man in the world."

He pulled Jimin close and reached down to cup his ass
as they kissed, picking Jimin
up off the floor and spinning around in a circle in the
process.

"Seriously, it's like everything
is going my way, It's the best feeling in the world."

"You deserve all the good
things." Jimin said.

"I'm so happy for you, truly."

Seeing him so carefree and excited was new for Jimin.

For all the years they'd known each other, there had always been a cloud hanging over
their friendship—not to
mention the outright hostility from Jungkook's dad.

It had made imagining a day when they could actually be together feel so pointless that Jimin had all but given up on
that dream for a long time.

But now that it was coming
true, he had to agree with
Jungkook.

It was the best feeling
in the world.

"And I want to share all of
the good things with you,
babe." Jungkook said.

"I know it probably sounds
corny as hell but I really think this is just the beginning of
so many good things for us."

"It doesn't sound corny at
all, it's just..." Jimin shrugged.

"Sometimes I feel like I should pinch myself to make sure it's real, After so many years of convincing myself that these good things weren't going to
ever happen, it feels almost
too good to be true."

"Like when you said you
wanted us to live together, I know that was probably just
to help my case with Pop but—"

"No." Jungkook shook his
head and pulled back just enough to look directly into Jimin's eyes.

"I wasn't just saying that."

"I meant it, I want to spend every day with you."

"I want to make a life with
you, We've both waited so
long for this but babe believe
me when I say that if you'll
give me a chance, I won't
ever let you down."

"I loved you then, I love you
now and I'm going to keep
loving you, forever. Always."

Jungkook wasn't saying any
thing different than he had at
the hospital or really anything different than he'd ever said when they were alone.

Hearing the words again
now though, knowing that it wasn't just an infatuation or
a fantasy—knowing that this
time it was for real made
Jimin's heart swell as he
kissed Jungkook again.
