The alarm blared. Ughhhhh, I forgot to turn his alarm off, Amara thought to herself. She reached over a sleeping Joseph and clicked it off. They were sleeping in today, maybe they'd order in some breakfast and take a nice hot bath. I'm so romantic, Amara thought as she quietly rushed off to complete her tasks.
A little while later, Joseph's eyes fluttered open, the sunlight illuminated his face, his brown eyes and eyelashes glinting in the light like chocolate diamonds. His heart raced as he looked over at the clock and then returned to a normal pace when he realized that he wouldn't be going back to work. He sighed and looked around the room. It was bathed in the golden, early morning sunlight that shone through the couple's sheer white curtains. Joseph buried himself deeper underneath the covers and nestled his head into the mountain of soft white pillows. He stretched until his legs shook, screeching loudly. Where's Amara, he thought. He lay still, waiting to hear her shuffling around. The smell of warm coffee wafted into the room. He took a deep breath in and exhaled with a long groan. What is this feeling? Euphoria...no, bliss? Ecstasy maybe, he thought. The memories of last night ran through his mind. His stomach jumped. "Mmm," he groaned, licking his lips. He rubbed his legs together taking in the feeling.
Amara slowly crept back into their room, holding two coffees and a brown paper bag. She held the bag up and posed like she was in a commercial. She was so corny. She put the bag and drinks on their nightstand and sat down on the bed next to him.
"Good morning," she said softly.
"Good morning," he replied in his gruff, raspy morning voice. Amara pushed his long, wavy brown hair back, revealing his thick bushy eyebrows. She gazed at him lovingly, taking in his appearance. He gazed back at her. Her skin shimmered in the sunlight and her long, thick curls cradled her face. Her dark brown eyes were so gentle and smooth. She relaxed her eyes, her long black eyelashes contributed to her sultry looks. "How'd you sleep?" Amara asked, smirking slightly.
Joseph didn't answer, not wanting to give her the satisfaction. He could be petty too.
Fine, she thought, he won't be able to withhold for long, he'll have to talk to me about it at some point. She shrugged her shoulders, "Fine then, don't say anything, you told me all I needed to know last night," she said, bringing her face nearer to his. He blushed and looked away from her. "Don't be shy now. You were so sure of yourself a second ago. Brat," she wrinkled her nose at the last part and fought back a smile. Joseph felt his face getting hotter. "But you were such a good boy yesterday," she continued, "So obedient...and so vocal. You were so cute," she said grinning. She loved intimidating him, especially after he'd tried to be so defiant.
Joseph couldn't stand her teasing anymore and pulled her face closer to his. He glanced at her lips, and then back at her beautiful eyes. He kissed her passionately, not pulling away, not even to breathe. He moaned quietly into her mouth while taking in a bit of air before he resumed. She moaned back and left his lips, lightly pecking his face all over, eventually leaving a trail of kisses down his chin into the crook of his neck.
"That feels nice," Joseph said breathlessly. He could feel a warmth growing in his crotch. He lifted the covers and pulled her onto him. He could feel the warmth emitting from her as well. He could melt.
"I ran us a bath," Amara whispered in his ear. "I figured it would be a good way for you to relax," she added, rubbing her hands all over his thighs. She sat up and looked down at Joseph, her eyes low.
"That sounds nice," Joseph said, meeting her gaze.
Amara smiled. "Great, then let's go," she said, climbing off of him. She grabbed his hand and pulled him from the bed.
