Maki sighed and rolled her eyes at the astronaut in front of her. "You're an idiot."

"Come on Maki-roll! I'm serious! They were totally making out!"

Kaito had been trying to convince the girl that he had seen his "sidekick" and Kokichi together in front of the school building.

"Whatever. I really couldn't care less. Just leave me alone." The assassin tried to leave, but the tall boy stepped in her way.

"Why are you being like this?!"

"What in stars are you talking about." Ever since Maki and Kaito had gotten close, she had picked up his little habit of changing the saying "what on earth". He had yet to say anything though, because he thought it was too sweet and didn't want her to stop.

"You're being colder than normal! What happened?"

"Nothing! I'm completely fine!" She grabbed his collar and shook him, even though he was quite a bit taller than her. She was seething, and she had on that scary face she made at Shuichi. "Do you wanna die?!" Her voice was more forceful than when she normally said that, she was getting angry, and Kaito had no idea why.

"Maki-roll, calm down! What, did you have a nightmare or something?"

She froze, then let go of him. "Shut up. I don't care what I have to do to make you, but shut up!" She growled at him, and shoved her finger in his face.

Of course, right then, Miu Iruma, the kinky inventor herself, passed by. "Woah! What's going on in here, huh~? Y'all getting kinky~?!"

The pair turned to look at her. One about to murder her, and the other trying to stop her.

"Uh... no." Kaito sweat, holding Maki back.

"I'm gonna kill her."

Realizing her horny ass wasn't wanted, she grabbed Maki's wrist and dragged her into the hallway, shutting the door in Kaito's face as he tried to follow.

"You need to fucking kiss 'im!" Miu shook the smaller girl violently.

Brain addled from the sudden shock, Maki slapped her. Or maybe she just felt like it. Only she knew.

She repeated her little phrase, "what in stars-?!" While Miu just kept shaking her.

"You want him to shut up, right?"

"Yes..." the assassin said hesitantly.

"Then kiss him! That always shuts bastards like him up!" She laughed and spit in Maki's face.

Wiping the saliva off her face, she considered this. Would that really work? Even if it didn't, it's still a win. Wait, WHAT?! No! She couldn't think about him like that!

Before she could even respond, Miu shoved her back in the room and winked, slamming the door again.

"Miu!" Maki screamed, then turned around, giving up.

Kaito put a hand on her shoulder and she looked up at him. "What was she shaking you about?"

"That's not your business..." she muttered and rolled her eyes.

"Damn. Girls are weird." He scratched the back of his neck.

Glaring at him, she started her catchphrase. "Do you wanna—" then stopped herself, thinking over what Miu said. What the hell? "If I kiss you, will you shut up?"

Her heart was pounding, but she didn't let him see that the Ultimate Assassin was flustered by her own comment. After all, she wasn't Himiko.

"W-what?!" His eyes flew open as he looked at her.

"You heard me."

"What in stars did she say to you?!"

Blushing profusely, she pulled him down by his jacket and connected their lips. His eyes remained wide open as he didn't expect this.

"I... told you... to shut up." She panted out, letting go of him and turned around. She couldn't let him see just how red her face was.

"I didn't expect you to actually do it!" He straightened his jacket and threw his arms in the air, exasperated.

She growled and yanked him down again. "Keep talking. I'm prepared to do it again." She lied between her teeth threateningly, as if she thought he hated it.

"Sweet!" He said then threw his hands over his mouth. Fuck. Did he say that out loud?
