Her room was silent. She laid in her bed crying, feeling her pain in her stomach. Her sobs filling the void of the rooms silence. In her head a storm. So many different thoughts, like multiple strikes of lightning her deepened sobs like rolls of thunder. So lonely yet surrounded by so many. Her other half missing. She missed him deeply, deeply in a way that she knows he doesn't understand. But she knew better than to voice her feelings. She kept it to simple I miss you's, rather than truly sharing how she felt. She missed his touch, she missed his laugh, she missed his compliments, she missed their long calls that would drag on for hours because neither of them wanted to be apart, she missed his longing stares, she missed his affection, she missed his sweet words, she missed him. The distance was killing her. All she wanted was to be by his side but she couldn't do that from 300 miles away.
