"Its only three months Mar and Lele".
The nickname 'Mar' and 'Lele', the nicknames I gave them 4 years ago when I first moved to Wisconsin. Leaving for the summer wasn't a new occurrence, every summer I could remember was spent at the Noon house. Leaving was sad, but temporary.Marleigh and Laila arrived at my house for the last sleepover of the next couple months. Of course they brought me gifts. I let them in and we all made our way up the stairs, and into my room. We sat down on the floor and I started to open their gifts. Marleigh got me the cutest, hot pink bikini. This shocked me the slightest bit because I'm used to modest swimsuits. "Come on Ells, now that you've had your glow up I know you are gonna get one of the twins" Marleigh said while giggling to Laila.
Her words were true, since last summer I've had some major changes. I lost the glasses and braces, I grew a little, and matured. The part about the twins was also true. I've had my eyes on Brady since we were kids. The eyes, the hair, the smile, just everything. I wasn't trying to dress just for him this summer but it would be nice if he at least noticed.
Laila got me the Bare Vanilla perfume from Victoria Secret, which I immediately threw into my bag. I always have the hardest time packing so the girls usually assist me. Sometimes I question the outfits they pick but most of the time they are pretty decent. My wardrobe has had a major upgrade so they were picking a lot of little tops. Laila picked a crop top and a pair of jean shorts. I would never admit to them, but Laila has the better style. I've known Marleigh much longer so it was always a priority to make Laila feel included and we ended up growing super close which might be part of the reason why we dress so similar.
✧THE AIRPORT✧
➪9:37pmJet lag is the worst! Remembering that I get to see Brady is the only thing making this better right now. The flight from Wisconsin to New Jersey is two hours but those two hours are a living hell. Crying babies, chatty people, and snorers. REALLY LOUD SNORERS.
The Noon family arrived at the airport to pick me and my mom up. That was when I remembered I was in sweats, no makeup, and messy hair. My mom sat in the passenger seat, and I sat in the back in between the two boys. "How was the flight sleeping beauty" Brady asked. "Good, don't mention how I look because you are also in pjs". The car wasn't small, the boys just took up so much of the leg room. Brady laughed at my response and the car filled with a comfortable silence.
My eyes started to feel heavy, and I started to doze off.
✧THE NOON RESIDENCE✧
➪10:57pmMy eyes started to flutter open and I slowly realized what I was laying on. For a whole hour I had been asleep on Brady Noon's shoulder. He was wide awake and turned to me when I sat up right. "Our moms got a picture of us all sleeping". I laughed at his statement and just shook my head. Every time his eyes met with mine I felt butterflies. "Why do you men feel the need to take up so much room with your legs" I asked the brunette sitting to my left. He laughed and said "we can't help it".
Only thirty more minutes of this painful car experience and I can get some real sleep. I love when Brady has messy hair. The snaps he always sends he has messy hair. He had on blue, plaid pj pants and a gray crew neck. I had on a matching black Nike set. Not that our clothes matter it's just crazy that I still find him attractive even when he is in pjs.
It was around 11:00pm when we finally pulled into the driveway of their home. It's crazy to think this could be my house for three months. The same house Brady Noon has always lived in.
