Me and Rodney were going to tour the city today... Well he was going to give me a tour... I haven't been in this city since I was 6 or 7

"Hey" I smiled when he walked up to the park.

"Hey, you look pretty today ... Who you trynna impress"

I blushed "you"

"You ain't gotta impress me, I ain't worth it trust me"

"I think so" I flirted

"My dad dosent"

"What?" I asked

"Don't worry about it let's go"
He grabbed my hand and led me to the first stop.

"This is keke's , the only place where you can get 3 waffles, eggs , bacon , grits, and sausage for only $12.99"

"Eggs bacon grits sausage" I started to sing

"Girl you're crazy" he laughed

"I know" it was true I was

"Let's go inside" he grabbed my hand again.

"Can I take your order"the Waiter asked. she was staring at Rodney and biting her lip

"Well take the $12.99 special" I said

"With the eggs and the grits and the cheese and the -"

"Sausage" I yelled

Me and Rodney laughed and the waiter rolled her eyes and walked away

" I don't think she likes us" Rodney said

"She likes you , she was looking at you , like you were a warmed up big Texas cinnamon roll"

"Aye that shit be good tho" he laughed

"Right"

"So what's your favorite thing to do"

"I don't know, sing"

"You answered that quick for someone who don't know"

I blushed "yeah "

"So when can I hear that beautiful voice of yours" he smiled .

It's a beautiful thing when a brown skin man has beautiful white teeth

I blushed again "I don't know, I'm a little shy "

"You don't gotta be shy around me, I ain't nobody.. I don't have no one to tell of you sound bad anyway"

I playfully nudged him "stop you're making me even more nervous"

"My bad shawty"

Moments later our food came in

"Mmmmm" I moaned as I dug into my waffles "this is the best waffle I've ever had"

"I knew you'd like it"

I had gotten so absorbed into my food I didn't even notice he wasn't eating but watching me eat.

"What "I said after quickly swallowing my food.

"Nothing, you're just so fine... how'd I end up eating breakfast with you"

"Thanks"...... " why do you always do that"

"Do what" he asked

"Why do you always degrade yourself, and talk about yourself like you're nothing"

"Because I'm not"

"Yes you are, you're an amazing guy... and you're fine asf just thought I'd add that"
