Chapter XIV: Strange Occurences.

Sadie:

As mentioned before, Aurora, me, Jemma, Amethyst, and even Milly herself all had strange dreams where we were attacked by a rogue animal in our dream and would wake up in the middle of the night with fresh scars on a certain part of our bodies where we would later tend to them ourselves. And this was just the beginning of it and we would all experience something similiar and wake up with the same problem. And so woul the animals too.

Abby and Bella joined up with all of us where they then showed that they had the same sort of dream experience as well; Abigail had bandage wraps around her left knee while Bella had bandage wraps on her left shoulder and told us what had happened. "Well, we all know that this isn't the first something like this has happened before." I added in when they finished. "No kidding." Abigail replied back in response.

Sadie: "First, it was Aurora. Then it was me and Jemma, then Amethyst, then Milly, and now it's you two. Which can only mean that Summer could be the next one to experience this for herself."

Summer: "Like that's ever gonna happen, kid. I've got God on my side, we've all got God on our side here."

Bellatrix: "Not all of us."

Summer: "Still, I don't see any harm coming to me at any given time."

Amethyst: "You're still gonna receive an injury either way, Summer!"

Summer: "Well, we'll just see about that."

Jemma: "Is almost everything a joke to you, Summer?"

Summer: "Not everything. Just confident, that's all."

Amethyst: "We'll just see about that, now won't we, Summer Smith?"

Amethyst was close enough in Summer's face, almost as if she was challenging her. As mentioned before, Amethyst and Summer didn't really get along from day one and Amethyst often got offended when Summer referred to us as allies but went along with it. Eventually though, we all started to get along well with her. As for Amethyst, well, it was a bit complicated for her to deal with, but the two of them get along well at times. "Let's just head to the forest already and we'll discuss more about this later." Aurora concluded. As we were about to leave, I caught glimpse of Amethyst looking at Summer and I heard her whisper: "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb; just remember that the next time you decide to act like a no nonsense individual."

"All right, Amethyst, that's quite enough!" Aurora bellowed, then Amethyst another glare at Summer before bolting off to meet up with Aurora at the front. The term, "Blood is thicker than water." Is an old English saying that means the familial bonds will always be stronger than other relationships in your life that is often misused in different situations other than relationships. I looked over at Summer and I said: "I can assure you that she didn't mean it."

Summer: "Are you really sure about that? Cause it kinda sounded like she did."

Sadie: "She's still trying to get along with you, it just takes time for these sort of things to happen."

Aurora: "Let's roll out!"

Sadie: "We'll talk more about this on the way to the forest and back home, all right?"

Summer: "Sure."

And we went to do just that where we would later learn that we weren't the only ones who were experiencing these dreams of ours.

Summer:

As I walked into the Den of the Healers, I saw DarkCloud laying down on the bedding of moss while DuskHeart attended to her... wounds? DarkCloud had a long, snaking scar going from her right shoulder blade all the way down to her paw, her muzzle and lip was scarred, and her right ear tip was torn and shredded. "What happened to you?" I asked. She turned to look at me by the sound of my voice. "I was attacked by someone in my dream." She told me in response. "And when I woke up, I had all of these inuries on me."
