SCENE 1: WHICH SONG? - INT. BRANCH'S BUNKER

(Characters: Branch, John Dory, Floyd, Clay, Bruce, Poppy, Viva).

The band, now known as "S.W.E.E.T." named after their sweet attitudes toward each other after the battle with Velvet and Veneer.

The members are:
Poppy = The sweet one

Viva = The crazy one

John Dory = The responsible one

Floyd = The supportive one

Clay = The studious one

Bruce = The mature one

Branch = The leader

Poppy and Branch are sitting next to each other talking. Their words are unintelligible. Viva and the others are all crowded in a separate room.

CLAY:

Hey guys, I just talked to Branch in private and he's about to propose to Poppy.

(Everyone gasps)

JOHN DORY:

(Tears up mid sentence)

Wow, he truly has grown up.

FLOYD:

I never expected Branch to get married, not so soon at least! I mean I was surprised even when I found out Bruce got married!

Bruce smiles at them.

BRUCE:

I will say, it's quite a commitment.

CLAY:

(dismissive)

Anyways, I was thinking, since we are Branch's family, and Branch's soon to be family

He points towards Viva

CLAY (CONT'D):

It's our solemn duty to be the ones to sing at the wedding.

BRUCE:

(slightly offended)

Hey, man that's not fair, I didn't get any song from you guys. Matter of fact I think all I got was a letter from John saying "congrats I guess."

VIVA:

(reasoning)

You guys weren't reunited yet, you still had grudges with each other.

They all look at each other and nod in begrudged agreement.

JOHN DORY:

So what song should we sing?

CLAY:

I have the perfect one.
