Oh hey! It's me again. Oh, hold up—
"You destroyed half of the market?!"
Thor's voice boomed, fists slamming down on his desk, eyes blazing with electric blue fury as thunder crackled around him and his desk shook under the force.
So, yeah... you're probably wondering what led up to this. Well, like Dad just said, I may have gone a little overboard with my powers. And unfortunately, there happened to be a Nexus portal nearby—one used by the local traders and whatnot.
Turns out, when you mix powerful lightning with unstable Nexus portal magic... you get an explosion big enough to feel like a nuke's baby cousin.
Thor took a deep breath, visibly struggling to contain his anger. "I've turned a blind eye to you sneaking off, running to other realms... even heading to Earth without my permission. But destroying Asgard, endangering our people—your people—that, I cannot ignore."
He pinched the bridge of his nose, the lightning around him dimming as he exhaled, his frustration easing just a bit.
"Son, I get it. You're a teenager. You're curious—that's great. But you're also next in line for the throne. You are royalty. You are a demigod." He stood up, crossing the room to me and placing a firm hand on my shoulder, looking at me with his one intense, fatherly eye. With a weary sigh, he turned back to his desk.
"Go to your room. Your punishment... is yet to be decided."
Uh-oh. That's never a good sign. Usually, he comes up with a punishment on the spot. Sometimes it's a one-way trip to some random planet for a "learning experience," or maybe the classic grounding—literally buried beneath Asgard.
Not wanting to test his patience any further, I quickly turned and left his office, heading straight to my room
. . . .
Thor leaned back in his chair, scratching his beard with a heavy sigh. "That boy... he definitely has your spirit, M/N," he murmured, a hint of a fond smile crossing his face.
As he sat, weighing how to handle Y/N's punishment—or if it was time for a real father-to-son talk—a familiar voice broke his thoughts.
"But he's the spitting image of his father. Well, almost... he does have both of his eyes." The voice chuckled from behind him.
Thor's gaze hardened. "Loki." He turned his chair to see his brother lounging against one of the gilded pillars, a smirk playing at his lips. "What do you want?"
The God of Mischief, Loki Odinson—technically not by blood, but still Thor's brother. Their relationship was a strange dance of neutral tolerance that could spiral into hostility at any moment.
"Come now, Brother! It's my nephew's 17th birthday in just a few days. I wouldn't miss it for all the realms," Loki sneered, striding over and settling himself casually on Thor's desk, crossing one leg over the other and resting his chin on his hand.
Despite being spared for countless crimes, Loki's "visits" to Asgard always came with hidden motives. Thor watched him, wary, his glare unrelenting.
"Ah, apologies, did I interrupt another father-son dispute?" Loki tilted his head with feigned innocence.
"I'm not in the mood for your games, Brother. Tell me what you want," Thor replied, voice sharp with warning.
In a blink, Loki teleported behind him, gripping Thor's shoulders with mock familiarity. "Oh, don't be so cold, Thor. I'm here purely as family," he purred, a mischievous glint in his eyes that promised anything but straightforward intentions
