Aprilis 28th, 2156.

"Any changes Fratres?" Imperator Grimus asked through my scroll. For three years I'd been monitoring my Mea Magna Nepotem's movements as per Titanfather Meus', Hyperion's orders to gather more information to see if our hunch was right or not.

"No," I answered. "It's been three years and there've been no noticeable changes. If what Avunculus Hyperion said was true than he truly was Daimonium Accidiae." "Even so, you must remain vigilant," he reminded. "We must be absolutely certain before we decide on our next course of action."

"What exactly is our next course of action?" I asked. "I'm not entirely sure what Avunculus meant but he said that we must get Amalia's help." I was rather shocked by his words and asked if I had heard him correctly. When he answered yes, I was confused as one should be after having been told they have to ask help from a decades long deceased Familiaris.

"How's that possible!" I exclaimed. "Forgive me for my rudeness Fratres, but she's been dead for over half a century," "I understand your confusion Kurin," he said, warmly. "To be honest I'm also unsure as to what he meant but he promised that he'll explain everything once we are absolutely certain of what's going on."

"Very well then," I said. "I'll continue my surveillance and report back when I've got something." Fratres Meus hung up as I placed my scroll in my back pocket. In case the conversation, was not clear I was already back at the palace initiating Avunculus Meus' plan, patiently monitoring the situation, and keeping an eye out for the mysterious figure.

What is exactly is that plan? The first part as I mentioned is to monitor Imperator Salim simply yet vigilantly for any odd behaviors. Aside from that I was also to capture or confront Mihi Supposita Daimonium Parentis and examine their face so we may have an undisputable confirmation of our suspicions.

As to why Titanfather Meus couldn't confront them himself. According to him, when he was younger, Primordiales Parentes Eius instructed their children to only interfere with mortal affairs when there was no other option, which was why we needed to perform that little recon mission before preparing for battle.

The second step in our plan was to gather allies. In the beginning during the creation of the empire, light and darkness were seen as two distinct entities that were completely separate from one another. Mortals were taught to fear the dark, and that only light would grant them strength. That was how it was for a whole two millennia until Masculum Propinquis Meis came to be.

When the five of them were calmed from their rampages, the gods saw a new way. One where light and dark worked not as individual entities but a duality of being that could bring balance to the empire, and it was only through that balance could a witch become strong.

I understand it sounds complicated but to put it simply, in order to be truly strong, witches must have equal parts light and darkness in their hearts. The empire also requires this balance as only through the balance of light and dark magic. In total, the two types of magic are further split into five subtypes.

Peccata Patris series focuses on dark magic which are harnessed through Quinque Peccata Mortalia; Accidia, Gula, Avidite, Orgullo, Et Invidia. Each one is represented by Quinque Principes Tartarus, powerful daimons who were said to be the first witches in history to commit these sins.

Of course, for every subtype of dark magic there's a subtype of light magic. The five forms of pure light magic are said to be powerful forms of magic which are able to counteract the pure dark magic wielded by Quinque Principes.

Comoedia Divina series introduce us to the wielders of this magic. Powerful beings who guard each of the five gates of Asphodel while also protecting the five Cantos of Elysium. These five archangeloses represent the opposite of Quinque Peccata Mortalia known as Quinque Virtutes Elysiae; Diligentia, Temperanca, Generosite, Humildad, and Gentilezza respectively, which coincidently just so happen to be Quinque Femina Defuncta Propinquis Meis.

Each of them also has an army of lesser angeloses that either guard Elysium or fighting in battle if and when needed. These armies were the allies we needed to recruit as the second part of the plan which meant that one of us had to journey through at least three parts of Hades to deliver a distress message.

If they'd agree to help than we'd move on to the next stage – battle. However, unlike a normal battle where, the goal is to either kill, or capture the enemy the goal of those five battles was to simply distract Daimonium Princeps long enough for Mea Angelica Femina Propinquis to use their divine relics to send them back to Tartarus.

This is actually something that's repeated numerous times in Comoedia Divina but the main theme in the series was each of Mea Masculum Propinquis coming their natal family's dark past and using it as motivation to help protect their marital ones.

"Lord Kurin!" a voice called out from behind me. "The Imperator wishes to speak with you." I turned around to see the captain of the palace's imperial guard, Dux Karter standing alongside Legatus Lucius. "Gratias Tibi, Dux," I said with a solute. "Please inform his imperialness I'll arrive there shortly." "Yes sir!" he said before walking in the direction of the throne room.

I approached the imperial throne room and braced myself. Knowing Imperator Salim, he was most likely growing suspicious of my behavior during those three years. However, when I arrived, I saw not just the Imperator but also the four Basili.

"Surprised, "Avunculus?"" Re Solin asked, a mischievous grin spreading across his. face. "We haven't seen you in a while." "Ahh yes," Rey Tarang said. "You two never did come to visit us though given how much you hate going out Salim, I can see why especially now that you're Imperator."

"Ha, I know right!" Rei Vidura remarked. "Remember that time we wanted to go swimming?" The other three Basili laughed in response whilst Imperator Salim rolled his eyes in annoyance. "What happened?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "Oh, right you weren't there." Roi Chuang commented. "No, I wasn't" I stated.

"You see Avunculus when we were young, Tarang invited us to visit the icy swimming holes of The El Reino Helado." He turned his head to face Imperator Salim before returning his gaze to me. "But instead of simply accompanying us, he ordered his servants to dig a hole in Tarang's garden and released some marine animals into it claiming to have made us our own swimming hole."

"Enough!" Imperator Salim exclaimed. "I didn't summon you four here to antagonize me!" "Okay, okay," Rei Vidura said. "Then what did you summon us for?" "Obrigado for asking "Primo,"" Imperator Salim said after composing himself. "I brought you here today to meet someone." A flash of English Violet light appeared from in front of the six of us, accompanied by a that same voice.

"Please your imperialness," a voice said. "Allow me." The light faded, and the mysterious hooded figure came into view. "I am Rashid Clawthorn, Daimonium Princeps Accidiae. I've come to serve and assist you five in governing your realms."

The four Basili welcomed them to the empire and began introducing themselves before the figure removed their hood and turned to face me. "Did you miss me, Fillius?" they asked menacingly. So, despite its outlandishness, my suspicions were correct.
