Martius 2nd, 2206.

After fourteen years living in Blight Valley, Princeps Azur'd grown close to "Quartus Cognati" Eius, and was also nearing the completion of his training. Not only did he have great skills when it came to manipulating the elements, but he was also a brilliant military strategist, and a prodigy in politics.

This made him especially close to Seniorem "Quartus Cognati" Eius, Prince Henri who shared his talents, beliefs, and sexuality. The only difference between them was their prowess. As an aether wolf, despite his main element is fire, Princeps Azur was also able to master the other three elements to the point where he could wield all four elements effectively in combat.

Prince Henri meanwhile descended from Mon Oncle Loup De Terre, Roi Philippe I and thus was only able to manipulate earth. However, due to the fact that he was a butch wolf he struggled to master his abilities much like Son Pere Et Son Grand-Pere.

Unfortunately, in the midst of the chaos, the young royals lost their Paters. During the few months that Imperator Salim faked his. desire to find his Fillius he decided to attack his "Tertio Cognati" under the guise that they'd committed treason by assisting in the imperial Princeps' kidnapping. Thankfully news of this heinous act reached Re Solin in time for him to arrange an escape root for myself and Minimus Propinquis Meis.

But as with any other well-intentioned act the Imperator, this was merely performed for propaganda. His actual intent was to slay his "Tertio Cognati", and Filli Eorum to stretch his autocratic control to the four Regnums to prevent a possible usurpation.

One day whilst I was patrolling the parameters of the castle Re Solin sent us to, I overheard a conversation between the young princes. "I'm sorry you four lost your fathers," Princeps Azur said. "Maybe I can reason with mine and convince him to stop this." Three of the young royals beamed with excitement again however Prince Henri was less optimistic.

"And pray tell what makes you think he will agree?" he asked, glaring at his younger "Cognati". "I don't," Princeps Azur answered. "And for that reason, I wish to ask for your assistance." "Me!?" Le Prince De La Terre exclaimed. "Of course, you're my best friend and I can't think of any other wolf I'd rather have fighting by my side."

"Are you sure about this?" I asked, entering the room. The five young princes turned their attention to me, and Princeps Azur gasped in shock "Avunculus!!" he exclaimed. "How long were you listening?" "For the past minutes," I answered.

"Well then, yes I am sure," he answered. "I understand you think my father is a lost cause but I'm positive I can reason with him." As much as I wished to disagree with him, I was unable to due to the fact that he reminded me so much of I Miei Genitori.

"Very well Azur," I conceded. "You and Henri may go." Le Prince De La Terre nodded in agreement and the two of them spent the evening reviewing their battle plans. The next day, they departed to Hyperion Heights after a short, bittersweet farewell with Eleonora and Aurora, their mates whom they met three years prior.

The journey lasted for a week and a day as the distance of travel was five thousand six hundred thirty-seven miles from where our residence at the time, and the two of them had no other means of travelling aside from walking.

Though it would've certainly been more efficient to ride on griffinback, the two butch princes decided that it'd be too risky. Aside from the obvious fact that it'd make it seem as though they were attempting an aerial attack on the palace, if they were ever shot down than it'd very possible for their fall to kill them.

Familia Meus' immortality may protect them from passing due to old age but when it came to fatal injuries, they're just as vulnerable as their mortal subjects, which is why Propinquis always ensured that their puppies don't become too reckless.

Anyway, when Princeps Azur and Prince Henri arrived at the palace, they requested to meet with the Imperator, only to be stopped by two guards blocking the entrance and chased away. That was to be expected though as Imperator Salim had only searched for his lost Fillius for several months for show, but when he grew bored, he pronounced to his Fillius dead, and the body never found.

When it appeared that the guards had finally given up the chase, the young princes decided to retire for the evening enact their backup plan the next day. The next morning, Princepa Azur and Prince Henri woke up early to head for the imperial palace and though, their rest was rather uncomfortable, they attempted to work pass their drowsiness and pressed on.

On the way, they heard a loud scream coming from the distance, to find it was the Imperator himself being attacked by a hooded figure and they rush in to save him. This is the final inaccuracy of Peccata Patris Volume 1 I wish to discuss, as the author states that Princeps Azur was alone during his first confrontations with Pater Eius, which as I'd just described was not the case.

Now, we come full circle. After meeting the Imperator, the hooded figure, Rashid Clawthorn knocked the two young princes to the ground and was about to slay them when a beam of light came down from the heavens and his opponents vanished. As for where they went, that'd have to wait till our next tale.
