Chapter 17: Stalker Justice

David didn't give up that easily. He began to stalk everything Z had. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, everything, even in real life. He secretly followed her from home to work and back home. He was planning on when it's the perfect time to attack and take back what's his.

It was March 20th, so a little over a week since what happened, and Zari seems to be recovering from it quite fast, which made Jeremy relieved. He kept an eye on the front doors and even the back doors and secret doors to make sure David didn't find his way in.

"I'm so sorry that happened, Zari.." Jeremy says to Z.

"It's ok, bubs. No one knew that was going to happen. It's been a week, so I'm alright. I've.. been through worse." She responds.

Jeremy nods but still feels like the worst brother in the world. He seriously wanted to throw David behind bars for being such a dumbass, but he unfortunately hasn't caused any physical issues to Zari, so Jeremy can't do anything.

After Zari's shift ended, she stayed in the break room as she waited for Jeremy to finish his shift. He eventually finished, and he took Zari home. Once they got home, the other brothers were in the living room, with Logan pacing around the room. He looked pissed off.

"Woah.. what's going on?" Jeremy asks, confused.

"Logan just found out that David has been stalking Zari's social media and possibly even in real life." Henry says.

Zari immediately felt chills go down her back.

"Excuse me?" Jeremy asks, now furious.

"You heard him. We don't know how he found out, but he's pretty pissed off." Nick says.

"I can tell, dumbass." Jeremy responds.

Zari was completely silent, now scared for her life all over again.

"I swear that asshole is gonna have his ass in jail." Logan says.

The brothers and Z didn't know what to say. They have seen Logan mad, but never this mad. Just then, they hear a knock at their door. Z's stomach drops, hoping it's not David. Logan goes to open the door, and not even a second after he does, he has David pinned down to the ground.

"You're such an idiot!" Logan screams as he keeps David pinned down.

"Nick, call the police!" Jeremy shouts as he quickly takes Z to her room.

"God damn it! You tricked me!" David yells, pissed off.

Logan snuck onto Zari's Instagram account and lured David into thinking she was off of work and alone at home. This just shows how desperate he was. Nick was on the phone with the police, eventually hanging up.

"Keep him pinned! They're on their way!" Nick exclaims from the other side of the living room.

Logan nods and uses all of his strength to keep David on the ground. Nick even comes out onto their front porch and helps Logan keep David down.

"That's not fair! You tricked me!" David yells again.

"You're nothing but a creep! No one touches our baby sister!" Nick screams at David in anger.

"She's supposed to be mine!" David screams back.

Logan punches him in the nose, breaking it and making it bleed.

"Logan, don't! You'll get thrown in jail, too!" Nick shouts at him.

Logan listens and keeps the rest of his fury inside.

After a couple of minutes, the police finally arrived. Logan and Nick got off of David right as an officer grabbed him and put handcuffs on him.

"No! Let me go! My girlfriend is in there!" David screams, trying to fight the officer.

The officer didn't listen as he basically dragged David to the back of his police cruiser. Another officer walks up to the 2 boys.

"Can you guys explain what's going on?" The officer asks.

"Gladly. That son of a bitch was planning on touching our baby sister. I lured him here, making him think I was her, so I could pin him down and finally get justice. He's been stalking her for a week, oh, and he jumped her last week at work." Logan explains.

The officer listened and understood.

"Gotcha.. well, we appreciate you keeping a hold of him until we got here. Have a good day, boys." The officer says, then walks away.

The officers then left. Logan and Nick walked back inside. Nick was shaking quite a bit from adrenaline and even slight fear. He didn't think today would end like this since it was almost 8 pm.

Jeremy was with Z in her room, trying to distract her by having her talk about school, her favorite hobbies, and anything she likes that'll help her calm down. Logan went up to her room and gently knocked.

"Hey Z.. he's gone.. for good. They have him in custody." Logan says sadly.

He felt bad for scaring Zari since she's never seen him that angry before.

"Hey Z, I know what will help you feel better. Movie night? We'll watch your favorite trilogyyy." Logan teases, smiling a bit.

Zari immediately perked her head up, and she nodded. This made Jeremy and Logan chuckle as she sped off the bed and went to the living room, quickly setting up the movie. Jeremy and Logan followed her.

"Gordon! Movie night!" Logan yelled.

Gordon came down from his room. Nick went to make popcorn while Henry and Jeremy were looking for snacks and drinks.
Zari then grabs tons of pillows and blankets. Logan smiles, knowing what she wants to do, so he helps her make a huge fort that everyone can fit in.

After a little while, Z and Logan finish the fort. Nick then comes in with a big bowl of popcorn, while Jeremy and Henry walk in with snacks and drinks. Gordan went to his room and came back with his pillows and blankets. The other boys and Z did that, too.

They made an extremely comfortable makeshift bed with all of their pillows and blankets from the living room closet and their rooms. Z grabbed the remote and played the movie. It was her favorite movie, Back to the Future. She had a huge crush on Marty, of course, putting Mark first.

Z got comfortable between Nick and Logan. She grabbed her favorite snack, gummy worms, and her favorite drink, Dr. Pepper. She absolutely loved it when everyone had a movie night. When she was in the fort, it felt like she was in her own little world. Her safe, comfortable, and amazing world with her favorite people in the entire world. Her brothers, who's also her bodyguards as well.

The siblings stayed up late, watching all 3 of the Back to the Future movies. It was their favorite trilogy, not just Z's favorite. It used to be their dad's favorite, so his love went down to his kids. After the third movie, all of the siblings eventually fell asleep, enjoying each others' company.

They were seriously the one family that seemed to never fight or ever seem to be separated.

(I'm so sorry this chapter is shorter and a bit more bland than the others. I ran out of ideas, but I promise I'll get better with ideas <3)
