The Prophecy

" Nothing, I just came to see you before the solar eclipse. I wanted to tell you a bit about what's going on. But I can't tell you everything yet Odin will when it's time.", he said just like the wolf spoke through her head in her dream before.

" How do you do that? How can I hear you?", she asked, confused as she gripped at what she thought was a tree behind her. But it was actually soft fur. She looked up seeing the leopard from the night before, her eyes widening.

" all shifters can do this but only to their own kind or. Pack. I'm an Alpha so I can do this with anyone and receive their thoughts back.", he said, only giving little information that only led Emma to have more questions.

“ I See, so what were you going to tell me about all of this?”, she asked as she took a step away from the leopard behind her. She wondered why the leopard was not talking to her and why it had let her touch her now.

“ Right, well you're going to need to come to this field on the day of the solar eclipse, we do not need humans or other species to know about what is going to happen. You are a part of the great legend of the three strongest clans in the world. Luckily we are not having wars with each other anymore, we’ve come to a truce. The legend goes like this. On a day when there is no sun a hybrid of the unknown will be reborn. The hybrid will know nothing of its origin until this day when everything has turned to dismay. The clan led by a black lion will be the first to see. The clan led by the mighty brown bear will be the one who watches over the hybrid till the day has come. The clan led by the gray wolf will be the one to help lead the hybrid to this day. All four will come together and use their strengths to stop the evil that had risen many years ago. Pandora is the name of the one they will seek. Only by the death of the goddess will true peace be brought back to the world. No one knows where she is but the four will find the clues as is.”, the lion finished as he looked at her. “ I was given permission by the god of season to tell you the prophecy, because if you didn’t know there was a possibility you would right agents out shifting. We need your help. The decision is up to you, but we can not tell you any more if you choose not to.”, he finished and let Emma take in all that was said.

“ So you're telling me that I am part of this big prophecy to find a goddess and kill her to give the world true peace?”she asked as she looked at the lion in slight disbalife. Why would the gods choose her? There were plenty of other people in the world they could have chosen.

“ Can I at least get a day or so to think about all of this?”, she asked as she rubbed her arm. She had so many other questions but they would have to wait.

“ Yes that is what I’m telling you, and yes you have two days to decide. If you dont show at the meadow then we will know you chose not to, and the prophecy will have to wait another thousand years.”, he said as he shook his mane out.

It was now Sunday morning Emma was drinking some coffee as she was heading out of the house to work. She had put a lot of thought into what the lion had told her. She was being given the chance to help stop all the evil in the world. Who would not take that opportunity. The only thing that really troubled her was that they had to find a goddess that no one knows where she is and kill her in order to bring all the bad things back into the box she opened. That was terrifying. The prophecy said she was going to be reborn as a hybrid, so there was no telling what she was going to be or how she would be able to help them. Sighing she drove out of her driveway heading to work. She still had to confront her boss about the bear on her hiking trip yesterday. She did her best to keep her thoughts at bay while she drove, so she didn’t cause an accident no one needed that. As soon as her car was parked she turned it off and locked it. Then she started to head into the building of the waterways industry. Passing by a few people who were aso just getting there she grabbed her card and clocked it in before heading to the stairs. Normally she took one at a time, but today she took them in two. She needed answers about yesterday from her boss. She would also have to wait and see if he was in a meeting with someone first.
