c3. voicemails

MEGUMI POV

Since yuuji ended up getting sick when we were at the picnic... somehow? I decided to bring him some soup when I go home from school today. As the bell rings and we exit I receive a voicemail.

"heyyy megummiiii" coughs can be heard after he says that. "can you hurry up please... I need someone's help pleasee.. I feel crazy." Yuuji says while coughing.

I sigh and put my phone away. Luckily I was at last period already.

— after last period —

I went to the store and bought a couple cans of chicken soup. I then walked to the apartment dorm and unlocked the door with my keys.

"megummiiiiiiii....." yuuji groans as he is snuggled on the couch with a blanket wrapped around him. "I brought you some soup. I'll start making one of them." I say as I put the bag down on the counter. As I start prepping the soup, I gave yuuji a bottle of water.

"Here, drink this while you wait." I say, he then gets out of his snuggled position and grabbed the water bottle, took of the cap, and then drank it. He must've been thirsty because he chugged it all. I stared at him with a confused look. And he just tilted his head like a puppy confused. I shook my head and realized the soup was done already. I gave yuuji the soup and he started to eat it. "Remember to blow on it a little so it doesn't at least burn your throat." I say. "Thank you megumi... you're so thoughtful." Yuuji says but then starts coughing uncontrollably. I scooted away from him since I was on the couch.

A little later he finished the soup and laid back down to sleep. I didn't want to disturb him so as I was getting up from the couch I felt a little tug on my shirt. "Please stay megumi." I heard yuuji say. What the hell was he thinking?? I tried not to blush as hard as I am blushing right now. "yuuji..." I say as a whisper. "please." yuuji said begging. I lowered down my head a little closing my eyes and then I sighed. I went back to the couch as I lost in defeat.

But at the same time.. I wanted to spend enough time with yuuji. I don't want this to end... so soon.

yuuji, stop being so soft with everyone. it won't help.
