Main character, Princess's boyfriend. Monte and Princess have been dating for about 7 months now. As a person, Monte is rather stubborn and loves to stick to his personal ideals and opinions, it's very hard to persuade this dude. Although seemingly confident due to his nature, Monte has a low-self esteem and needs reassurance very often. Monte is moody as hell and is constantly in an emotion of some sort. Monte grew up hanging around his two best friends, Tahj and Dharye. They've been a trio since kindergarten. Out of the three, Monte and Tahj are the closest. Monte's been keeping his true sexuality a secret for a while now due to the fear of being judged, perceived. He's afraid his social status will fall, and that his family won't accept him. All of this causes confusion for Monte, which sent him into a state of denial about what he truly wants. He's lost, and is not sure what is good for him personally. His yearn for validation causes him to do what others think is right, and in turn he believes that what others say is correct. He has his ideals completely backwards, and he's in for a real rude awakening when his world is turned upside down.

Monte's big brother. Keion is a very prominent figure in Monte's life. Due to their father walking out on them, Keion has been the man of the house and takes care of Monte and their mother. Monte looks to Keion as a role model, a father figure. Keion by nature has always been the leader type, and he cares very deeply about the people close to him and will protect them at all costs. He's an overall generous guy with style, a deep voice, and humor, which is why everybody loves him and seems to flock to him so easily. Everybody sees him as their big brother. He's not part of the group per say, but everybody knows him. He's one of the most reliable people you'll ever have. Keion's very well collected mentally, since he's taught himself not let his temper get the best of him. Nobody has really seen him angry before. He prefers to approach situations in the calmest matter possible.
