Do Seolmi walked down the halls of Yujen from the CEO's office to the working area, Choi Dohyuk, the COO, walking with her.
After reaching, Choi Dohyuk cleared his throat, gaining the attention of the men. As soon as they saw them, they quickly stood up and bowed to the COO and the new lawyer. Seolmi bowed back with a soft smile.
“So gentlemen, she's Do Seolmi and she's the new lawyer who's joining you. Treat her well” He stated and walked away as the men gave her a full-blown grinned which took Seolmi aback.
“Welcome to Yujen, Ms. Do!” Lee Sohee stated enthusiastically as the men handed her flower bouquets one by one.
Seolmi widened her eyes as she looked at them. “It wasn't really necessary” She said, setting them down on her workstation as Jiwoong smiled.
“You're the only female in our group. Expect to be treated like a princess” He said, helping Seolmi sit down who looked at the men, baffled.
“But like, I'm also one of your team members, right?” Seolmi asked, looking at Jiwoong. But a hand tapped her shoulder, from behind her. She looked behind her to see her ex, Hong Jaekyung, as she raised an eyebrow.
“For princess Do” Jaekyung handed her two bars of her favorite dark chocolate as she blinked rapidly.
“I thought you'd curse me out because I knew you worked in Yujen and joined the same law firm as you” Seolmi said, looking at the man.
To state the truth, she thought all the men were going to be hypocrites and a walking pain in the ass. But them, treating her like she belongs from a royal family is, weird.
If she had heard this, happening to Chaewon, she would have said that it was cringe but as it is happening to her, it's unusual.
“How can I, Seolmi?” He stated cheekily and sat on his desk, which was right after Sohee. “On the second half, boss asked me to give you a tour of the company” He stated as she nodded.
“Okay” I furrowed her eyebrows and started to look through some documents of an actor who she was assigned to.
