Once we had finished our search of the plant, we returned back to Danielle and Jackie. We gave Danielle her dad's name tag. She stared at it and shook her head back and forth. Then suddenly she started bawling. She grabbed her hair and started pulling at it. The rest of us awkwardly stood around her; trying to figure out what to do next. Jackie was still kneeling down besides her rubbing her back.

After a few minutes, Danielle stood up and said in a soft voice, "We need to get going before it gets dark."

Danielle stood up and slipped the name tag into her back pocket. On the way back to our homes, we walked at a slower pace than before. We also all stayed in one group instead of separate groups. We all stayed silent except for the little chat about what we would do tomorrow. We watched the sides of the roads, making sure no deer or wolves were crossing our path.

Once we had made it back to town it was probably 10:30. We all went our separate ways to our own deserted homes. This time Vrock decided that he would spend the night at his own house.

I had somehow made it home without any difficulty in the pitch black. I grabbed a flashlight that was on the table next to the front door. Shining the light against the hallway walls, I managed to make it into the kitchen and I grabbed a cutie from the refrigerator which is no longer producing cold air. I picked up the freshest cutie and then headed up to my room.

Once I made it up the stairs, even though a few times I stumbled on some of the steps. I swear I've lived in this house for years and I can't walk in the dark without tripping over something.

I flopped onto my day bed. This is where I am now except now my cutie is in bits and pieces on my nightstand. Also I have a small stuffed bunny against my chest. My parents gave it to me when I was 5 on Easter. I use to take that bunny everywhere. When I turned 11, a boy at my school told me to grow up. I threw it into my closet and left it there until now.

I stared into the darkness. All I see is those blue eyes at the plant. It's like those eyes are looking right into my soul. Those eyes will haunt my nightmares for weeks. For some reason the eyes don't look like regular human eyes.

I know that I'm not going to fall asleep anytime soon. I slipped my hand under my shirt. I grabbed onto the chain of my mother's locket that was hidden under my shirt. I opened it up and the clock said that it was 2:30 am.

My head fell back onto my super soft pillow and I let out a loud sigh. Why can't I just fall asleep? I laid there for a few minutes, but it was no use. There was no way I was going to fall asleep.

I released my grip on the stuffed bunny. Letting it softly fall onto my bed. I unwrapped myself out of the blankets that have twisted around my body. Might as well do something since I'm not going to sleep.

I stood up and raised my arms above my head. Arching my back a little, hearing the small pops of my spine. I've been a gymnast for my entire life so I don't find it gross to have your back pop. After I was done, I grabbed the flashlight and started heading downstairs.

I stopped by the kitchen and grabbed a package of smore pop tarts. I haven't eaten a full meal in days. I've mainly been eating small snacks throughout the day. Some of those snacks aren't the healthiest.

With half of a pop tart already in my mouth, I grabbed my lit jacket from the coat hanger in the hallway. Then I walked out the front doors. I was just planning on taking a short walk around the block.

The chilly air found its way through my jacket. Goosebumps formed on my arms. I rubbed my hands together, trying to keep warm. Its only mid-August, it really shouldn't be this cold outside. I shined the flashlight on the rough looking road and found luggage bags that were half opened, baby bottles that are cracked, a small stuffed doll, and a few family pictures.

I've been outside plenty of times after two, usually to go sneak over to Penny's house, but it's never been this creepy looking outside. Just a few days ago this town was fully of kids running around and happy, but now it's a ghost town.

I turned onto Wilson Street. This is where a creepy old man use to sit in his rocking chair and watch the kids play on the sidewalks. On the way to school, I use to take the longer way so that I don't have to go by his house.

This is also where the hoarding cat lady lives. Many people have called the cops; demanding that they stop this, but they never did. I never really mind all the cats. Sometimes a wandering kitten would find its way to my house and I would have so much fun taking care of it. Usually at the end of the day I would ask my parents to keep it, but they always said no because we already have a cat.

When I walked in front of the cat lady's house, I heard a rustle in the bush next to me. I dropped the part of my pop tart that I had left. I looked at it on the ground thinking to myself if I should pick it up or not. It was already past 5 seconds so I left it. I shined my light at the bush that I heard the rusle come from. It didn't look like anything was in it so I moved continued my walk.

After a few more steps, I felt something brush against my forearm. I quickly side stepped to the left. What was that? Okay now I'm scared. Should I just go home?

Right when I was about to turn around to go home, I felt a something extremely sharp digging into my wrist. I started panicking and shined the light at my arm. Biting into my flesh was a medium size snack with wings like a butterfly. Yes, wings! I shook my arm back and forth trying to shake the creature off.

Tears were rolling down my cheeks. Please don't be poisonous. Again for a third time the snake bite into my wrist. I turned my head to get a better look at it. At the same time the snake turned its head to look at me. The same blue eyes of the man at the plant were staring back at me.

I dropped the flashlight and lifted my hand to try to smack it off. My hand suddenly became extremely hot. Right before my hand hit the flying snake, a blue ray shot out of my hand. The snake let go of my arm and caught on fire. The snake let out a horrible screech. About two seconds later, the ashes fell to the ground by my feet.

The blue ray disappeared from my hand. I kneeled down and tried to catch my breath. The weird blue ray left my hand a bright pink. I wiggled my fingers making sure that there even mine. Question after question raced through my head. Is this a dream or real? Am I like a superhero now? Should I tell anyone about this?

My mind snapped back and realized that dark red blood was running down my arm. I grabbed the flashlight from the ground and ran home as fast as I can.

Once I made it home, I hurried to the bathroom to find some ointment, swaps, bandages, an tape. I turned on the cold water and soaked my wrist under it. After that I dug through the cabinets, throwing stuff I didn't need to the side. Once I gathered everything I need, I sat down on the bathroom floor.

I used my other hand to put pressure on the snake bites. After I had stopped the bleeding, I lathered on the antibacterial ointment. The wounds started stinging. During this I prayed that the snake wasn't poisonous. I pressed on the swap and bandages and the wrapped my wrist with the tape.

After I got done with everything, I laid my head down on the cold tile floor. I grabbed onto my hand that had shit the blue flame. There was just a normal hand, no burn marks or scabs. I lifted my hand to the curling. Trying so hard to make it happen again. Please just do it so I don't think that I'm insane. Of course nothing happened. Did it really happen?

Who am I?
