ATTACK ON TITAN REBIRTH

FIRST CHANGES

For starters i would like to discuss the major changes and those that have happened since the very beginning of the story in ATACK ON TITAN.

1. The first major change is the number of titans. I've included new titans, each with unique looks, inheritors, and powers. How many titan-shifters do we have in Marley now? But in Paradise? Only time will tell. But I can guarantee that some of them will be used by the characters we've always wanted to see turned into titans. Also the lifespan of titan-shifters has changed from 13 to 20 years

2.  Also, the titans have existed for over 5000 years. In these thousands of years the titans are always evolving and the people doing countless experiments and attempts to multiply them and create new titans. But all these experiments were failures upon failures failing to create any new  titan-shifters. Every time they tried to give someone the inheritor's spine to eat by splitting it in two, they failed because only one of them could inherit the titan's power and the other died trying. 

3. Although these experiments failed to create new titan-shifters they instead succeeded in creating pure titans. Since in the anime we are never told how they were created or what the titan serum contains besides spinal fluid I decided to come up with my own explanation of how this artificial method of using the very power of the FOUNDER was created. My theory is that when these titans first appeared there was nothing special about them other than their size which was much smaller than what titans are today. Their abilities not being fully developed at first the humans who had these titans wanted to find a way to create entire armies of giant humanoids. Thus they experimented with trying to feed other humans with the titans' flesh, their blood, spinal fluid, and any other methods someone could think of. And although it was all an infinite series of failures, the arrogance of the people forced them to continue with these crazy experiments until in a few centuries they saw how the spinal fluid was the only one that caused small changes in the DNA of the people. 

Specifically it was observed that generations of people who had the spinal fluid of titan shifters injected into their bodies began to undergo physical mutations in various forms, some showing larger limbs, others being much taller than most people, others becoming quadrupedal, and many other physical effects, but at the same time the subjects seemed to lose their ability to speak and think clearly. And these results were enough to encourage the Eldians to continue experimenting on both Eldians and other human races, in the process discovering how the spinal fluid could only affect Eldians and thus their nickname, subjects of Ymir. 

Thus continuing to experiment with new methods of combining the spinal fluid with the subject's body and new ingredients added to the titan serum formula, the Eldians continued to work relentlessly using even primitive syringes made from animal needles, rhinoceros horns, and bones to be able to combine the titan serum with the subjects spine. Thus, after 1500 years and endless trials, the titan serum was perfected to the point where the Eldians could also decide how tall the new man transformed into titan would be. And thus the pure titans were born.

4. All of the titan-shifters have different powers, special hardening abilities unique to them, and a special attribute that makes them unique compared to all other titans.

I changed the size of most of them because I wanted them to be much more imposing and scary, also the size would help them compared to other titans and other people to be much more impressive.

I also changed their abilities a bit added new powers or made the way they work a little different to the titans we already know to be really dangerous and real weapons of mass destruction for war.
