Clay: Oh ok, well where does he wanna meet?
Viva: at Poppy and Branch's place.
Clay: Ok then, see you there wife-to-be *kisses her cheek

Poppy: You're really gonna like Clay dad, he's kinda like Branch, which does make sense considering they're brothers.
Viva: Hey Poppy, hey Dad!
King Peppy: Hello Viva, when can I meet this fiancée of yours?
Viva: He's here actually, Hey Clay!
Clay: Hey Babe, you must be Viva's dad, I'm her fiancée
King Peppy: Yes, Viva talks about you all the time. So Clay, Viva here tells me you help her co-run her village.
Clay: Yes sir! Though I may make sure everyones safe, Viv's the one who really makes the place awesome!
Viva: Aww, thanks babe!
King Peppy: Well I can see that you two love each other very much and Clay, it seems that you love my daughter as much as she loves you and you seem like you could protect her at all cost, and with that you have my blessing to get married.
Viva: Really? Thank you Dad! *hugs Clay*
Clay: Wow thank you sir!
King Peppy: And as soon as you two are married there will be no more "sir" around here, you will call me "Peppy" or "Dad"
Branch: Poppy, didn't he say the exact same thing to me when WE got his blessing to be married?
Poppy: Yeah, but just let them have this.
