2 years later; it was Selena's and Nick's first day of freshman year.
"Oh my goodness Nick, can you believe were in high school already!" The girl asked squealing, walking into their high school.
Nick laughed at her girly way of expressing her happiness. "Yeah kind of, you havent stop talking bout it since the beginning of summer."
"I know, but today is our first day, and I'm so glad we get to go together." She said taking a hold of his arm as they walked down the clean streets of Suburbia.
"It just wouldn't feel the same with me going to a different school and you going to another." He truthfully said.
Selena laughed at his honest remark. "Did I tell you I love your outfit." Selena asked but of course she loved his outfit, she practically went shopping with him to buy everything in his wardrobe.
Nick wore a white button down shirt, thin tie and black jeans.
"I did a pretty good job."
"Isn't it too much with the tie?" Nick asked looking at her searching every class room door.
"Trust, all the girls will be all over you. Oh my gosh were here ! She said grabbing his arm and rushing toward the entrance.
But Nick only thinking, 'but I only like one girl'. He jut recently figure out he liked Selena, but still, he thought of her as his best friend, just now he had a little crush on her.
Through out the year Selena & Nick made friends with other people; Stella & Andrew. They both started to date other people. But Selena never did like who Nick went out with, but she never knew why. She only thought it was her protective side as his best friends, & all the girls he did go out with just liked him for his looks. To which he grew into very well.

Nick and Selena were still best friends and were closer than ever, then Selena started to realize how cute Nick was and when he sang , it brought a glow to him. She started to fall for Nick Jonas.

One day ,Monday, they were studying in Selena's room.
"Nick, why does geometry have to be so hard ?" She whined throwing her book on her bed, which was were she was sitting down Indian style.
"It's not that hard Sel, let me see. Hmm, pathagreom theorem, Sel, it isn't that hard." He tolled her once again. In moments like these, she loves having a best friend who is also the most brainiac kid in school.
"Yes it is, it's impossible." She asked hunching over pouting.
