"Am I to heavy for you?" Selena whispered into his ear.
"Babe, if you were to heavy I wouldn't have let you gotten on my back." He said kissing her hand that was wrapped around his neck.
Selena smiled at her boyfriend's bluntness, she then decided to have some fun so she started to kiss his cheek then down to his jaw line then down his neck.
"Selena, as much as I love you kissing half of my face, i’m about to fall if you keep doing that." He said shyly.
"Aww Nick, your so cute when you act all shy." She laughed jumping off his back.
They walked into the back yard, seeing only a few bit of people still there.
"Want to hang out in my room?" he asked her to which she replied with a nod of her head.
They walked into the house passing through the kitchen & into the living room, where they saw Joe sitting on the couch, Chelsea sitting on Joe's lap as is he were carrying her bridal style.
Joe then saw the young couple walk in hand in hand.
"Aww are the two love birds back." Joe teased.
"Yes & now were going to hang out in his room. I'll see you tomorrow Chelsea." Selena said as Nick was almost dragging her up the stairs.
"Bye Sel." She giggled, Joe looked at her & kissed her cheek.
"You are too cute." He whispered.
Selena & Nick got into his room & practically talked all night, till they fell asleep around 1:30 in the morning. Selena's head in the crook of Nick's shoulder & her arm rested over his chest, while he had one arm around her waist. They woke up around 6:30 from Nick's alarm.
Selena heard it first so she reached over & pressed stop. She then rubbed the sleepiness out of her eyes.
"Nick, Nick, it's time to wake up." She gently pushed him. But he didn't move a muscle. She then had a smile on her face as she reached over & gave him a kiss right on his lips, at first he didn't kiss back until he felt a tingle on his lips, he then immediately kiss back & adjusted the arm that was around her waist. Selena smiled through the kiss as she began to giggle.
"See I know how to wake you up."
"You know me so well." He said rubbing the sleepiness out of his eyes.
"Does your mom know you're going to take me to the airport?" He asked groggily leaning on his elbows.
"Yeah, she is going to pick me up once you're gone." Her tone came out with a bit of an attitude, but she knew it wasn't his fault.
"Selena." Nick began as he cupped her check compelling her to look at him. "Nothing in this entire world can make me stop loving you, not even if I'm 300 billion miles away." He explained giving her forehead a kiss. "Come on, we got to get ready."
She shook her head as he wiped the tear that strained down her semi flushed cheeks.
An hour later Selena, Nick and his family were all at the airport ready to leave to New York. Chelsea was even there to say bye to Joe but unlike Selena who was holding in her tears she had no problem showing her tears. Not wanting to let Joe go, she just held him in a tight embrace.
Selena sucked in a need of air as the I'm of her eyes began to redden. "So uh, you promise to come to my graduation?" She asked blinking rapidly hoping it would contain the cries she so wanted to let out.
"Would miss it for the world." He gave her a hug for the rest of the time as he hear her sniffles.
"Last call to New York please board the plane." The speakers sounded as a woman's voice echoed through the walls.
"I love you Selena, I'll call you when I get there." Giving her one last kiss he knew he wouldn't get another for a while, might as well make this one the best.
Slowly backing away she wiped her tears and whispered an 'I love you' back. Seeing Chelsea walk towards her she held her hand for assistants as she felt she was going to faint. For the man she has known most of her life and the man she grew to love was leaving. But deep in her heart she knew this was not the end.
Their relationship didn't end, it only grew. Even though their only for of communication was emails or calls or Skype they still managed to make it work.
As promised he did go to her graduation and stayed through the administrators speeches and even his former classmates name callings, but nothing felt more vibrant than when she was called forth to say the valedictorian speech. He missed hearing her voice in person. Just watching her stand on the podium making eye contact with mostly him made him feel more at home.
He even bought her one of the biggest balloons and bouquet of roses anyone has seen. But the size of the balloons could not compare to the amount of love the atmosphere felt once they were in each other arms again.
