"Ugh, why do I have to do this?" I mutter bitterly to myself as I walk to the store. I just wanted to hang out with my friends before school started! But I guess that's too much to ask for when it comes to my parents. Instead, I'm stuck doing these damn errands for my parents.
I arrive at the store, pushing the heavy door open as I walk through it. I take the shopping list out of my pocket as I pick up a shopping basket, quickly reading the list. The list consists of milk, eggs, chicken, ice cream and a couple other stuff. Shit, my parents forgot to give me money for it, guess I have to fucking pay now. I grumble vague things under my breath as I walk to the milk section. I look up from the piece of paper and see a girl, around my age, reaching for an item that's quiet high up. She is very pretty, I can't deny that.
I quickly scan her appearance, she's beautiful. Although, she looks pissed off, or sad. I can't decide which. She's grumbling incoherent words under her breath as she reaches for the item. I continue to look around the isle for the things I need, but can't help glancing back at her every couple seconds.
When I arrive at the checkout, she's paying for her items. Although, the cashier seems to be flirting with her, asking for her number, saying she's hot. I hate men like that. She then tells him to 'stuff it, asshole' and finishes paying before leaving the store. I can't help but chuckle at that, she's so bold. It's admirable. She seems around my age, but I'm pretty sure she's new, I haven't seen her around school before. Maybe she'll be joining my school when term starts. I hope so, that'll certainly make our boring-ass school a little more entertaining. The cashier coughs to get my attention, snapping me out my daydream and making me frown in embarrassment as I begin to pay.
