It's pretty hard being in Highschool and being the school's 'Cupid'. Basically I see red strings of fate for everyone except myself. But one morning I wake up to see an unexpected surprise...
"Ummm, why are you staring at me like that?" Donatello questions and stares at his hand aswell to figure out the answer.
"hold on hold on.." i stare at my own hand to try and find my soulmate but also see that it stops about an inch after it starts.
what the hell? why can't i see my string anymore? why can't i see Donatello's either?
"i can't fully see your string.. and i can't see mine either." i state as i lift my head up to stare at Donatello. "this is so off topic but you look like a purple inhaler" i say as i cover my mouth with my hand to stop my laugh.
Donatello rolls his eyes, "haha, very funny. you should win an oscar for how funny you are". He crosses his arms and glares at me.
"wait you still haven't answered my question. why are you tracking my location??" i lift an eyebrow and imitate his behavior by crossing my arms as well.
"well, if you must know-" "yes i must know" "-ahem.. as i was saying. if you must know then i was trying to get more information on you. i can't trust you immediately after i meet you. You might be working for the foot or someone else."
"the foot? what is that? some kind of foot fetish club?" i snort and look at him as if he thinks im in some kind of weird cult.
"i'm serious, y/n. i don't know if you're some kind of crazy person that i can't trust" he sternly says and examines my room from afar to see if he can find something suspicious in my room.
"listen, i don't know why you think im some weirdo but im April's friend, and you're her friend too. i'm not gonna hurt her and your brothers.. even you, you get on my nerves.." i state and walk over to my desk to organize some of the papers i was studying. "now if you allow me i have to study for a test tomorrow" i look at him over my shoulder and he's gone. the window wide open and wind blowing in, moving my curtains around.
"ughh.." i groan and close the window shut. i walk back to my desk and sit down to continue my studying. But my mind remains on him.
'he's so fucking weird.. why did he just walk out and not close the window. he doesn't have any manners'
i think about the things i shouldn't be worrying about but i continue to study for my science test. mind you, it's like 3:30 in the morning right now.
i study and study and study until i take a nap on my desk and wake up to the sound of my alarm.

"shitshitshitshit.." i quickly get up and stuff my papers in my backpack and swiftly get changed into my outfit.

i pour cereal and milk into my bowl and eat it fast enough but not that fast so that it spills all over me. i grab my keys and head out of my apartment, locking the door on the way out.
i run down the stairs of the apartment building and open the exit door. cool air rushes into me and i fast pace (?) my way through the sidewalk and accidentally bump into people.
"sorry! sorry.." i exclaim as my backpack pushes through a group of people. i continue walking and i see the high school building.
i relax my shoulders and check my phone for the time.

"OH" i run into the school doors and open them wide, i quickly head over to my locker and stuff a bunch of my stuff in there except for my math book and pencil case.
i run throughout the halls, not caring if a school monitor catches me. i am not going to be late to class. i arrive to my class and as soon as i open the door the bell rings, i go to my assigned seat and take a deep breath in and out, almost passing out due to the random workout i just did.

time passes and it's finally lunch. right when the bell rings, the whole class gets up and rushes out of the door to finally eat some food after starving for like 3-4 hours.
i also rush out of the door and get my backpack from my locker and head on over to the lunch
my backpack thumps on the ground and i sit down at the table.
"heyyy y/n..." April says, concerned about my lazy behavior.
"hi. did you know that a turtle in purple was tracking me and broke into my room at 3 in the morning?" i smile sweetly and close my eyes, tired out of my mind.
April just looks at me shocked, but also expecting that to happen sooner or later. "oh! girl.. i was lowkey expecting him to do something weird like that. did he say it was because he wanted to make sure you weren't a villain or something?" she raises an eyebrow and points a french fry at me.
"yes, i was minding my business studying and-" "wait studying? for what?" April looks at me as if i'm some kind of nerd.
"i was studying for the science test.. duh" i roll my eyes and take the french fry she was pointing with. i pop it into my mouth, "did you seriously not know?" i chuckle as her face turns red in embarrassment and her mouth wide open.
"WE HAVE A SCIENCE TEST?" she screams loudly and lays her head onto the table defeatedly. i stare at her, holding back laughs as i watch her give up in life.
"ANYWAYSS, as i was saying i was studying and i found a random tracker stuck on my backpack. me being me i thought it was from the purple dragons, mainly Kendra. but then Donatello randomly came into my room and started talking 'bout how i might be apart of 'the foot'? and yeah he left after i explained to him. buttttt, he left without saying anything else, because i literally turned around for a second and he was gone"
i rant about last night and take more of April's fries and stuff them into my mouth, waiting for her reaction.
"Donnie's just.. special !" she says sarcastically and slaps my hand from taking anymore fries. "but, he's just like that. you must've done something to trigger him or smth. Because he didn't do that to Sunita, well, yes and no. Him and Leo were stalking us because they both thought she was also 'weird' like them but i just didn't believe them. but that's smth different, he didn't dislike Sunita and accuse her of something she's not" April explains and continues to eat her burger.
that's allll!!! i hope you guys like the new chapter. it's been like 2 years since i updated this. (i think, i forgor) im gonna try to update more and more chapters bc i don't wanna give this book up 😽😽
