My jaw dropped as I looked at the guys. They exploded into laughter, punching each other in the arms.
"Guys? Seriously?" I gawked, looking from them to my manager.
"Hey! I put a lot of thought into mine!" Yoongi said. Hoseok and Taehyung agreed, saying that they put effort into theirs too.
Our manager walked away before bringing back a large box that was wrapped in red and white wrapping paper. It looked more like a Christmas gift than a birthday present.
"This one is from Yoongi, since he swore he put the most effort in." I took the present with both hands, listening as Yoongi began to say "wait, wait, wait-"
I began to carefully open the box, making sure not to destroy the good wrapping paper. Once I got the box open, my jaw dropped again.
"Yah! What the hell is this?" I said, reaching for the items inside. It was Suga goods from 2015.
The entire table fell out into laughter as I complained about Yoongis thought process. "What am I going to do with these?" I cried through my laughter.
"You can hang them in your room! Those are very rare in the fandom, that fan sells for sixty thousand won online," He countered, pointing to the fan with his face on it.
The rest of the presents were much better than Yoongis. Namjoon had gifted me a painting, Seokjin gave me new cat plushie, Hoseok settled for a new suitcase (which I did in fact need), and Taehyung and Jungkook got me an instant ice cream machine as well as MIMI merch. I appreciated the thought that all of them put into their gifts.
"Now, as for Jimins gift," Manager Min turned to Jimin, "He can explain what happened to it."
"So- It's not actually here yet," He awkwardly laughed. Yoongi immediately butted in, saying that his gift was automatically better than Jimins.
Jimin continued, "I ordered this really, really cool thing... But it went on back order, and now it wont be here till sometime next week. But to make up for it, I made you something else. It's not that great, though."
The table fell silent as we waited for him to elaborate on what he made. When he realized we were waiting on him, he quickly said, "It's on my laptop upstairs! I was editing it on the plane!"
The rest of us let out an "ohhhhh" in realization. Finally the gifting was done, and we were able to return back upstairs to our hotel room. The time was 9:15PM, meaning it was too late to go out and do anything else.
