Adventure, I Choose You: Part 2!

Summary: Ash, Delia, and Professor Oak observe the battle between Leon and Raihan, and the aftermath proves to leave a major impact on many!

Author's Notes: Welcome to our regularly scheduled broadcast! Also known as me finally posting chapters of this story regularly! Now, to celebrate, this chapter is going to basically be a double-length chapter. It wasn't originally as intended to be one, but I decided that I didn't want to split this up, and give you guys two chapters worth of content! The first arc is coming to a close with the next chapter, and it's where the story truly begins! Enjoy!

~ Chapter 3 | Adventure, I Choose You: Part 2! ~

After entering the stadium, Ash was offered to sit in a 'special seat' with the rest of the Masters Eight which would give him a heightened advantage when it came to observing the match. However, Ash declined, opting to sit with his mother and Professor Oak, as he felt that he would get time to see these people later, and although he was excited about it, he didn't want to be unfair to the people who brought him there. They were still given very good seats close to the battlefield, so no advantage was really lost in the end.

"Pikachu, are you ready to see this battle?" Ash asked his partner excitedly.

Pikachu nodded, a few tiny sparks flying from his red cheeks. "Pika!"

"You're definitely going to be in for a 'big' surprise during this battle, that's for sure! A true Galarian specialty one could say!" Samuel hinted to the younger boy.

"Huh?/Pika?" Ash and Pikachu tilted their heads.

Delia was also out of the loop as to what the professor was talking about, however, didn't want to accidentally ask any questions that would ruin the surprise for her son. Samuel just leaned back in his seat, telling the duo to wait and watch.

Coincidentally, the announcer got over the loudspeaker to begin the ceremonies.

"Welcome one and all, to Galar's Wyndon Stadium, where in just a few moments, we are to proudly present the opening match to kick off the first-ever World Coronation Series!"

Cheers rang throughout the stadium, Ash and Pikachu just as much a part of it as everyone else. Samuel, Delia, and Mimey just opted to clap, as yelling as loud as Ash was would probably strain their voices more than they would like. Colorful lights streamed across the battlefield down in the center, preparing for the entrances that were about to be made.

"However, to have an opening match, we need our competitors! So please, give a warm welcome, firstly, to the Hammerlocke Gym Leader, the self-proclaimed rival of our other competitor, and the Galar region's leading authority on Dragon-type Pokémon, Raihan!"

The loud cheering returned, seemingly even more intense as a light-brown-skinned man wearing a dark blue and orange themed outfit stepped out from one side of the stadium. He waved his hands around, one of them being used to hold his Rotom Phone which took photos at every angle possible. Raihan made various faces and hand signals to make each picture even more unique.

"Right boss I'll upload them right away!" the phone spoke, downloading the photos to all of Raihan's social media profiles.

Raihan nodded, flashing his pearly whites. "Thanks!"

After he arrived in the center, some lights stayed on him, but many also moved to the door opposite the Gym Leader. The announcer went over the mic once again, returning to hype up the audience even more.
