"Nick told me Zack's family will be at the game tonight are ready to see them?" Reagan yells from her room.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I yell back to her, but she doesn't respond.
"Reagan Jones, you better not say or do anything that will embarrass me in front of them." She laughs.
"Don't worry, I won't tell them how the two of you are hooking up." I completely freeze in place.
"I'm joking, obviously." Okay, thank god, I thought she somehow found out. I tie my hair back in a ponytail and grab a pair of white shoes. After we get to the football field, we find Zack's parents and sit next to them.
"Girls, it's been so long since I've seen you. How have you been?" Mrs. Woods hugs us, same with Mr. Woods.
"Good. How have you guys been?" We make small talk until the game starts. Everyone starts cheering when they announce Zack's name.
We're down to the last ten seconds, and we're up by 5 points. The other team has the ball and needs a touchdown to win the game. We all watch as they throw the ball to the guy in the end zone. Nick dives in front of the guy and catches the ball. The crowd cheers and we run down to the field. I find Zack, who picks me up off the ground and spins us around. He carefully sets me down to hug his parents and sister. I turn and see Reagan and Nick smirking at me. Rolling my eyes, I hug Nick as well. The team heads to the locker-room and everyone else slowly starts leaving the field.
"Hm and you thought I would be the one to give his parents ideas about you two. I think you both did it yourselves based on that brief encounter." Smacking her arm, I try to hide my smile.
"Shut up. He was just happy they won the game." We walk behind his family.
"Yeah, okay. Nick was the one who saved us from losing. You don't see him lift me up and spin me around like we're in a romance movie. Zack's parents congratulate him once more before they have to say their goodbyes.
"I'm glad to see you two getting along now." Mrs. Woods whispers in my ear as she hugs me.
"Me too." I whisper back. The four of us wave to them as they drive off.
"Two options. We could either join the rest of the team at the bar for celebratory drinks or we can order pizza and watch a movie at the house." We all turn and stare at Nick like he's crazy.
"What I know I like to party, but I don't like to do it all the time." He shrugs as we walk to his car. We all vote for pizza and a movie. Before we go to their place, Reagan asks if he can stop at ours so she can change into comfortable clothes. She drags me with her, so I decide to change as well.

After arriving, Nick and Reagan bicker over what movie to watch while Zack orders pizza. They finally find one they both agree on and we wait until the pizza arrives to start the movie. Zack sits next to me on the love seat, and I try to avoid Reagan's smirk. I shiver and regret not bringing a sweatshirt. Zack gets up and runs upstairs to get something, and quickly returns with a sweatshirt and a blanket. He hands me the sweatshirt and I realize it has his last name on it. Without hesitation, I put it on and his cologne scent fills my nose. After the pizza arrives, the boys shovel it in and their plates are clean in minutes. I finish my food and little later and pull the blanket up. The movie is almost over when I see Zack and I are the only two awake. I start looking for my phone to order an Uber for Reagan and I.
