Chapter 13: Simulation Battle

Currently, Y/n and his friends are having lunch after their respective classes. While they were eating Y/n was trying to mind his own business, but it was somewhat hard because Kiana was a tad bit closer to him than he'd like.

"Is it just me, or does it feel like Kiana has gotten a bit more clingier with Y/n?" Elysia asked.

"Hm, does seem so." Mobius smirked. "It seems like my potion was a success~"

"Success at making me scream at night." Y/n muttered much to the amusement of everyone there. "Not funny guys, I don't think the potion is supposed to make their eyes glow, right?"

"Our eyes were glowing?" Mei asked.

"Yeah, not so fun when I see thunder around you." Y/n felt a small chill on his spine. "Reminds me of HoT."

"Hm... something to note down I guess." Mobius said as she noted down what Y/n said. Y/n glanced at Mei, only for a slight glow to appear in her eyes, causing him to turn away quickly.

"Ne-Ne!" Kiana exclaimed while leaning on Y/n. "Can we play games later?"

"Kiana, we have assignments due in two days, and you haven't even started!" Mei said.

"Argh! Assignments are evil!" Kiana rested her head on the table. "Why do we even need to do them? We're not gonna use them later on when we're fighting..."

"I hate to say this, but she somewhat has a point." Elysia said. Elysia turned to Kevin with a smirk who was sitting across from her. "Why can't you be smart like Kiana?"

All Kevin did answer her was to flip her off with pasta in his mouth before turning his focus back to the food in front of him.

"Let's be honest, Subject Idiotka and Subject Kevin are Kaslana and you guys know how they are." Bronya said. 

"HEY! At least call me by my name!" Kiana exclaimed. 

"Damn loli..." Kevin muttered under his breath.

"Subject Kevin forgets The Bronya can turn into Mommy Bronya."

"The fact that you're using that language scares me." Y/n sweatdropped. Maybe she was reading a bit too much of 4chan Y/N thought. 

After a while conversing,  they all headed back to their class. Y/n's current class was sparring with his teammates. Himeko was the one hosting the sparring. Different teams were surrounding Himeko at the arena.

"Alright class, listen up!" Himeko called out to them, causing silence to take over. "Today we're gonna do simulated sparring against Honkai beasts. We'll start easy and make our way to the hardest difficulty. If you fail, you sit it out until the rest fails. Got it?!"

""Yes Ma'am!!!"" Everyone shouted. 

"Good. We'll start with... Kiana and her team." Himeko pointed at Kiana.

"Alright!" Kiana pumped her fist. "We'll send these Honkai to the highway of hell!"

"Y/n, have you been letting her listen to your music?" Mei asked him.

"'Scuse me but I listen to jazz, so can't be me." Y/n retorted. "I can't stop her from doing whatever on the internet."

"Subject Idiotka sounds cringe." Bronya said while looking away from her. 

"Why are you all roasting me?! It's good music!"

After preparing, they went into the simulated room where the Honkai would spawn.
