"A-RA-JIN....!"

"E-EH?!"

"WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING, HUH!?!"

In a confused rage, I was now shaking my little brother roughly by the collar of his shirt. Scolding him to hell while demanding answers.

"DON'T FUCKING SAY GROSS AND DUMB SHIT LIKE THAT YOU RIGHT-BRAINED IDIOT!! HOW THE FUCK DID YOUR NOODLE ASS ARM DEVELOP MUSCLES OUT OF NOWHERE!?!"

"A-ANEK!?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!?"

"I WAS OUT GETTING GROCERIES AND GOING BACK TO THE RESTAURANT WHEN I SAW YOU GETTING FUCKING BEAT ON YOU FUCKING LOSER!!" I snapped.

"When we get home you have some explaining to do-!"

Before I could say anything else, the guy that Arajin punched came out of nowhere and kicked him. From how swift and hard the kick was, my brother was launched into the air and into the water of the river by the park.

In shocked horror, I watched as a guy with a similar uniform as Arajin's and brunette hair ran up to the railing and jumped into the water. A piece of Arajin's shirt that tore off when he was kicked was in my clenched hand.

Not even a minute later, the sound of police sirens echoed in the distance.

Shit.

Without any hesitation, I snapped out of my shock to punch the guy who kicked Arajin in the face before running back to retrieve the grocery bags.

As much as I wanted to go into the water to search for him, I couldn't afford the time. The police were getting closer by the second and there is no way I can risk getting arrested with these hooligans. It would reflect badly on the restaurant and worry the hell out of Mom, which she probably is by now since

I haven't come back yet.

Like the delinquents, I began to book it the hell out of there, hoping that my brother would be safe and back home soon.

-

"She played you, "I deadpanned at my brother, who instantly reacted.

Once again, Arajin came back around sunset half naked. I was glad that he was fine, but I still wanted answers. So, I instantly began interrogating him once the restaurant closed and everything settled down.

"SHE DID NOT!!" He retorted, angrily refusing the truth.

"She did, "I huffed, "She was literally geeking out as she watched your ass get beaten by her older brother. You were also literally surrounded by his lackeys. You cannot tell me that isn't exactly what happened."

"S-she was very enthusiastic!!"

I rolled my eyes.

"Yeeeaah... Suuurrreee... Whatever floats your boat...."

"Well! She took the 'Love Forever Stone'!!" Arajin said with confidence, making me deadpan again.

"And I bet she felt creeped out about it."

"Hey!"

I huffed as I got up to go to my room for the night.

"Whatever." I exhaled," Just don't say dumb shit like at the park ever again. It makes you look and sound stupid and a perv. Along with talking to yourself, you've been doing that ever since you came home yesterday and it's making me think that you need a mental asylum."

Walking out of Arajin's room, I stood in the doorway of my room before shouting out to him.

"And thank the guy who saved you today, I know you well enough to know that you didn't."
