As Max stayed on Earth, he decided to relax on a rooftop and take a break. He sits down on the roof, debating on what he could do for the time being, such as going to the comic shop, hot topic, arcade, or even going to Japan. He thought of possibilities until.....

Max: Whoops, I almost forgot that I used up a lot of energy. Time to refuel........
( Max's Powers might be strong, but remember, they still are a part of his body. And with that, the best way of recharging them is... food. )
Max: Hi, May I get a double cheeseburger with a large Fry and a large, please?
Cashier: Sure thing, and by the way, cool costume.
Max: Oh, thank you. My folks made it for me.
Despite the people staring at Max for wearing the costume, he waited for his order at the checkout counter and tapped his boot waiting. He then waved at kids staring at the costume, and they waved back. He got his order and paid them saying keep the change as he left a tip, leaving the restaurant. " He walks to an alley where he opens a portal to a rooftop where he can take his mask off and start eating. As he ate his burger , a siren could be heard, causing Max to stop eating and look to the streets where a fire truck could be seen racing towards a burning building. Where a young college girl tries running back in but is stopped by the firemen.
Girl: No! Please let me through! My little sister is up there! Please!!!
The girl begs in fear for the worst but the firemen wouldn't allow it their attention was caught by an explosion from the seventh floor, which made the college girl's tremble worsen as they lived on the fifth floor. Meanwhile, on the fifth floor, the little girl cries and coughs, begging for help. The fire was too hot, and the child hugged her teddy bear tightly as she was scared of the fire and coughs. The fire was getting closer and closer until she felt the fire getting farther, which made her open her eyes. And to the girl's eyes was the young imp in his human disguise, attracting the flames to him. Running to the girl.
Max: It's okay. I'm gonna get you outta here. Come on.
Max then picks up the little girl and runs, raising his hand, trying to open a portal but with no luck.
Max thinks: Damn it! I'm not recharged yet! I gotta find away outta here! Just hold on, kid!
Max ran and was trapped as the ceiling collapsed in front of them in the apartment entrance, trapping them. Max panicked as the girl was choking from the fumes and smoke, and with no other choice, Max ran to the window and held the child protectively in his arms, and jumped out of the window. Prepared for the worse, he hugged the child in his arms to shield her from the impact of the fall, only to find that them caught in a life net which was held by the firemen. Max looked at the child, checking for injuries, and handed her to the firemen, instructing them to get her an oxygen tank immediately. Enters the college girl who ran to the child in tears.
Girl: Cyan! You're okay! Oh, thank God..... cyan...
The child smiles at her sister and then looks at Max, which makes the college girl look at him, and in wonder, she asks, " Who are you?" He pauses and looks at the crowd staring at him, murmuring about him. He then looked back at her, and with a tone of confidence, he said...
Max: I'm Hope-Demon...
With that, the girl hugged Max tightly in gratitude to his surprise. She thanks him for saving her little sister, as she was the only family she had left. The girl smiles at the young imp in gratitude as she sheds a tear, happy that she was able to see her big sister again. The fire department walks up to the young imp.
Fire chief: Boy, that was very brave. It was stupid and reckless.... but brave. We are in your gratitude. What's your name?
Max: Call me "Hope-Demon."
Fire chief: Hope-Demon? What are you like... a superhero or something?
Max: (chuckles) I guess you could say that, but I'm just here to help. Uh, listen, I don't mean to be rude, but I have somewhere to be, sir.
Fire Chief: Son, I would like to ask you some questions about your involvement with the fire.
Max politely declined as he did have to leave before the police arrived because they would have suspected he had been the cause of the fire. That and he wanted to finish his meal to see if it would fully recharge them since he was running at 25% of his power. So, using as much energy as he could, he opened a portal to the roof. He fell backward, closing the portal as he landed on the roof.
Max: Close one.... okay, now for you - Aw, dude, really?!
To his disappointment were crows eating his food. And because he had a good heart, he just let them have the food so they could eat. He then climbs down the fire escape, walking to the dumpster where he found his clothes hidden in a paper bag so he could change. He walks the street to find something else to eat. As Max walked the streets. Max then enters a smoothie shop, where he orders a super berry wight smoothie, and sees the news playing a footage of Hope-Demon leaping out of the burning building with the child in his arms.
Max: Already on the news. Guess I shouldn't be surprised. Considering the fish Monster and now this. I just hope this doesn't come back to bite me....... It's gonna bite me.....
Unbeknownst to Max, two individuals in tuxedos and sunglasses were watching the news as well.
???: he might be from hell.
???: could be, but why would he go outta his way to save a human?
???: could be a trick, but we need to know for sure.
