1.) This story will have exaggerated elements, locations, and characters throughout the story. In this story the characters are Anthros.

2.) At the time of writing this I am actually an A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Mechanic working at Gulfstream a private jet company. And I ACTUALLY was a Youth Appreciate there at age 16 to 18. Anything that I say about me being laid off and hated on by the company is absolutely FLASE. The company is great and everyone is treated equally and nicely.

3.) Lastly, I have not written in a long time, so this is my first time back after several years.

3rd Person POV/Backstory

His life was set up perfectly. Grayson was adopted and loved by his family. During his Sophomore year of high school, Grayson started working at GulfStream within his home town at the airport. He had perfect grades.  All A's and B's. His mom was a teacher and his dad was a cop/ex military and now a teacher. That went all the way up until he graduated high school and went through collage.

Grayson was given a rare opportunity to work as a mechanic for Gulfstream, fixing and returning planes to service with a large team at 16. That was 8 years ago.

During that time Grayson was given his first car a 2011 Hyundai Tucson by his grandpa.
Later he scrapped up enough money to buy a 2023 Kawasaki Vulcan S.
Then much much later bought a 2015 Camaro LT.
He held onto these vehicles even after being kicked out.

His girlfriend of 5 years left him for someone else, but he recovered. But he still stayed the same Grayson as he always did despite the sadness in his heart. The relationship with mom however was almost nonexistent. During his parents divorce at age 11 during 6th grade, his mom upped the amount of neglect, negativity, and hatred towards Grayson. But he never noticed it because it was normalized.

In his Junior Year of high school, Grayson then met a new girl that, later, would be his wife. Several months into dating, his girlfriend pointed out how much negativity he was exposed to and thought to be "normal."
He became distant from his mom over time, she noticed and tried to take control of his actions, that only pushed him further away. After that, mom never had a hold on him since.

Although Grayson still loved his mom and vice versa, they still had a relationship and he made her proud, despite butting heads a lot, they both set aside their differences to be family.

Now age 24, Grayson had already been kicked from Gulfstream and is now looking for a new job. Something fun that also uses his "hands on learning" and being able to fix things type of job.

But right now he sits at his friends house.  Aidan (ThePhantom400 ) to discuss his new job and talk things over. They've been friends since they were 8 and 9 years old.
