Chica's POV

I look at Monty and signal him to cut it off and quit laughing. I see Roxy looking at her phone and realized that it was new. She was tapping her foot to a song.

"What are you laughing about Mont?" I ask as the car comes to slow and turns into a neighborhood.

Monty says in between snickers "I caught Grayson looking at Roxy like he just saw a wife in her or something." I almost burst out laughing but I manage to keep it together.

"A gated neighborhood???" Grayson shouts hearing the sound of something clamping shut "What are we? White people???"

Monty bursts out laughing even louder than before, causing Freddy to yell at him to calm down while swerving. We stopped at a red brick house and Jackson walked out.

I watched Jack open the front door of his house before giving his wife and kid a hug before walking out. He opened up the passenger side door and jumped in. Looking behind him he waved at us.

"Hey Jack!" I wave.

Monty gives him a fist bump "How ya doing Jack'o?"

He sighs "I'm living, wife and kids are doing good!"

"What up boss man?" Grayson says giving Jackson a high five after walking up.

I watch as Jackson watches Grayson sit back down next to Roxy and say "I see you two have gotten close, are you guys dating?"

Roxy immediately turns beet red and opens her mouth to speak but nothing comes out.
"Our first date is tomorrow night!" Grayson replies happy.

"Ahh I see, isn't that going to be a little strange? Dating an Anthro almost..a good taller than you?"

Monty chimes in "What does height have to do with anything? If Grayson has to find unconventional ways to get it on I'm pretty sure he'll find a way to put his di—"I cut him off, putting my mouth over him. Freddy is now looking at dead at me.

I smile and respond kindly "What Monty is trying today is that Grayson and Roxanne are going to have a fabulous night together and be home and NOT TRY ANYTHING!"

I turn to look at Grayson and Roxy and they both are slouched down in their seats, scared that they might get their asses beat. I then shot both of them a wink.

By winking at them I was signaling to them that I was supporting them if they wanted to try something. But I guess they wanted to wait to get to know each other more despite wanting to jump the gun. I don't blame them. The amount that they seem compatible is ridiculous.

Later

As the car roars up to speed on the highway Freddy asks all of us if we want to take turns singing to pass the time.

I nod "Sure! Why not?"
I knew for a fact that Roxy wanted to sing. She's been working on a song called "I Don't Really Care, My Love". I wasn't sure if she was done or not.

"I'm down for singing!" Roxy responds, hearing a click from her ear buds case and putting them away.

I hear a I guess I'll do it sigh from Grayson "Sure, why not?" He says.

Last time we sang in the car was several years ago. We were on the road type of band at the time before we were given an opportunity to perform at our very own place. Little did we know that it would be the Mega PizzaPlex.
When we would sing and practice on the road we would all sit on the floor of the car or sit in the seats and sing whatever song we wanted.

I look forward to see Freddy fumbling with the head unit, tapping the screen and connecting Jack's phone. I then feel that I'm being bumped, a silky fur brushes against me.
I look to my left and see Roxy's ass right in my face. She was leaning towards the back of the car, trying to coax Grayson into sitting on the floor with her, in front of me and Monty.
