- Luke -

Calum and Ashton both ended up falling asleep during the movie, me being the only one to actually finish it. I didn't know what to do when the movie ended, since they both were sleeping and I wasn't tired. How could I be tired? It wasn't even noon yet.

I eventually decided to continue watching a series on Netflix that I had started awhile back. Eventually they would wake up and we could maybe do something fun today or tomorrow to get Calum's mind off of it.

Calum was woken up when his phone rang and he asked me to answer it. I did, and discovered that it was his older sister.

"Hello?" I answered, keeping my voice low, since Ashton was still asleep and Calum was only half awake. I hoped she recognized my voice so she wouldn't think some random stranger had somehow got hold of her brother's phone.

"Oh, Luke, yeah?" She asked, and I nodded, then realized she couldn't see me. I heard Calum laugh at my action, and I reached over and flicked his shoulder.

"Yeah, it is. Your brother was too busy sleeping on my boyfriend." I said, and I heard her laugh.

"Yeah, he told me about your soulmate. Ashton, yeah?" She asked, and I kept myself from making the mistake of nodding again.

"Yeah, that's his name. So what'd you call for?" I asked. I heard shuffling on the other side of the phone. She lived in Australia, too, but not exactly near where their parents lived. We lived quite close, though, so we wouldn't have to prepare for a long car ride like she did.

"Just seeing how Calum was doing. Is he coming to the funeral?" She asked. I guess she wasn't the one who informed him about it all then.

"Yeah, he is. I'm going, too, and possibly Ashton and some other people that Calum and I are friends with." I answered. We might be able to get Michael and Miles to go. Most likely not, though, since Michael and I both can't take off from work and if Michael doesn't go, then Miles most likely won't.

"Alright. Good. I really wanted to see him. Has anything happened with his soulmate? He gets pretty tired of waiting around for her. Or him." She said, and I laughed.

"No, sadly. Nothing has come up about that. Hopefully it will, though. That may relieve some of the stress he's having." I replied. I was hoping Calum would find his soulmate soon. We had even discussed what we were going to do when we both found our soulmates. The one whose soulmate has a nicer flat moves into theirs while the other gets to keeps ours. It was a good idea at the time, but now I don't know when Calum will find his soulmate and when Ashton will want to live together.

"Alright. Well, thanks for answering, Luke. Bye." She said, and I told her bye back before hanging up.

"What'd she want." Calum asked, his voice muffled slightly by Ashton's leg.

"Just wanted to know if you were coming. I told her you were." I replied. Calum sat up, his hair slightly messed up, though I didn't think that was in his concerns right now. He looked down, letting out a small giggled.

"Do you think Ashton will care that I drooled a little on his jeans?" He asked, rubbing at Ashton's thigh with the blanket. I laughed and shook my head.

"It's a shame, isn't it?" Calum said. I didn't know if he was talking about his dad or not until he pointed down to Ashton's arm where his sleeve had rolled up. I sighed and nodded.

"He told me about it. He said he wouldn't do it again and he hasn't. Said he stopped ever since he met me." I said, placing a kiss on Ashton's temple, even though he would never know.

"What you two got, it's really cute. I'm Lashton as fuck." Calum said and I laughed. Apparently he came up with some ship name.

"Jesus Christ, Calum. You need less free time if you have thoughts to come up with a ship name for your best friend and his boyfriend." I said, laughing. Calum hit my arm, laughing as well.

"So you gonna let him sleep or wake him up?" Calum asked, pointing towards Ashton.

"A good boyfriend would let him sleep, but I'm Luke, so I'm not a good boyfriend. Go get the air horn." I said, and Calum laughed, getting up to retrieve the item. He came back, handing it to me and sitting down, getting Snapchat ready for the torture we were about to inflict.

When I blew it, Ashton didn't even jump. His eyes just opened, and he pulled the blanket up, leaning over and laying his head on my chest. My arm instinctively wrapped itself around his shoulders.

"How the hell did you not get scared?" Calum asked. I laughed, knowing Ashton just ruined the good quality video Calum could've put on his Snapchat story.

"You do know I lived with Michael for almost a year, right?" He said, and we both burst out laughing.

"Fair point, fair point." I said, throwing the air horn on the living room table.

"So what are we going to do? Just sit here all day?" Ashton asked and I shook my head.

"I was thinking of going out to eat? Maybe call Michael and have him join us? He texted me saying that Miles was hanging out with some friend and that he was bored." I said. Calum nodded.

"Sounds good." Calum said, and we all started getting ready. I texted Michael where to meet us, and I was glad to see a genuine smile on everyone's face during the meal. I smiled, being quite proud of myself.

Only one panic attack in three days. A new record, though it did have to start over after today. I didn't care, though. It gave me a goal to beat and, with Ashton by my side, I was confident that I could do it.
