The weekend, my reason to smile in the morning. Like literally, it just means two days away from the falcon blog,Regina,Howard and my two new life's supervillains. I got up lazily, washed up and headed downstairs. "Morning." I greeted. Mom was preparing breakfast and dad was going through the news on the sofa. "How was your night?" Mom asked and I sighed. "A true delight." I answered pouring myself a glass of water.
"I hear your team is on for the tournament." Dad asked and I rushed over to him. "Yes old man and your girl is bringing home the trophy." I promised as I plumped down next to him. He was my role model. Dad was a basketball player back in his day and he'd won tons of trophies many of which I'd admired since childhood.
We were still talking when Bree came down chatting loudly on her phone. "Oh my God you wont believe it. Of course I said yes." She squealed and I rolled my eyes making my dad chuckle. "Okay, tomorrow will do." She added and I got up. "Do you mind not all of us enjoy listening to your annoying conversations." I complained and she rolled her eyes. "Whatever, you're just jealous." She retorted. I was about to spit back when dad held my hand. Since childhood, dad urged me not to vent out my anger and I'd learnt to control it from him, well sometimes.

Mom had served breakfast and we were all seated when we heard the doorbell. "I'll get it." I shot up and rushed to the door. "Andrew!" I exclaimed and hugged him tight. "Andrew?" Bree called excitedly before also embracing him. "Okay. But do you plan to greet me from the door?" He asked before Bree let go of him and he came in. Andrew was in college and moved out a year ago. He'd visit often but it had been two weeks since his last visit and he'd left his car with us.
"So how are my little sisters?" He asked but before I could say, Bree started. "It was amazing you wouldn't believe what happened this morning. I got called to participate in the town's fashion show." She explained and my eyes went wide. That's what she was th talking about. And I thought a guy asked her out again. "Really that's great news." Mom exclaimed as they all talked happily about the news. I lost my appetite and left the room. There goes Bree again, the owner of the spotlight.
I was still in my room going through basketball videos when I heard a knock on my door. "Come in." I called out and Andrew poked his head inside. "Where's my fighter?" No,Andrew doesn't know I'm an underground fighter,he just calls me fighter because im always in trouble. Despite not liking it.
"Here." I mumbled and he sighed pushing his feet towards my bed and sitting down. "Tell me." He asked and I raised my eyes from my phone to look at him. He just nodded his head and I sighed setting my phone aside and turning to him with a serious look.
With one puff of air I explained my shitty week to him. At some point I could see fury in his eyes. "You want to tell me he punched you. And the school did nothing?" He asked and I chuckled. "Calm down,I'm fine aren't I?" I asked and he sighed. "Look at the bright side." I urged and he smiled. "My sister is playing her dream tournament." He said with an excited tone and I got up from my bed. "Don't you think I deserve a gift?" I asked and he smiled. "Let's go out. My treat." He asked and I arched a brow. By that he just means let's go out for icecream. "We can go to the rec center." I offered as I went through my closet picking out a tank top a dark wash denim jacket a pair of shorts and my laceless combat boots. "Sure why not. I'll be downstairs." He answered.

I got ready and got downstairs but found Andrew a little tense on phone. "Sorry fighter,I have to deal with something urgent." I knew Andrew, he was always up and about so I didn't fuss. "Its okay." I shrugged before he left. What now?
Well,I wasn't all off,after he'd left,Georgia invited me to the park and I couldn't possibly say no.
I picked my skateboard and headed out to the park. I didn't know why she had preferred meeting here because as far as I knew,Georgia loved the mall and all our meet ups would be at the mall.
I found her at the park entrance with a sad smile. "You don't look good?" I asked and she rolled her eyes. "Thanks. Girls love to hear that." She retorted and I chuckled before my eyes met something that made my smile fall. Hard.
"Georgie?" I asked and she swallowed hard. "Yes,Nora?" She asked and I took a deep breath. "Please tell me they aren't with you." Her gaze wouldn't meet mine and it said it all. Behind her stood my two tormentors with the most sly looks I'd ever laid eye on. "Tell her Georgia. Tell her what we are all doing here." Aiden said placing his hands on Georgia's shoulders. "I knew if I'd explained over the phone you wouldn't come." She defended and I arched a brow. "Funny how?" I asked and she sighed.

Georgia's parents were business people and they just happened to be out of town this weekend and asked Aiden's parents to waaaa watch her and her little brother. Aiden's parents however weren't willing to let her go out alone and they made sure Aiden and Daniel would watch over her. I knew the only reason they'd agreed was because I was involved. "Yeah,I'm going home." I muttered and turned to leave but Georgia grabbed my hand. Looking at her, I could see how selfish I was being. Georgia wouldn't leave me alone in such a situation. I looked behind her at the demons I was planning to leave my bestfriend with. "Fine I'll stay." I agreed.
I was right. Georgia was initially interested in the mall. The park was just an excuse. Georgia was addicted to this place but secretly,I only came here for the free food samples. When we got to the mall, the two pieces of luggage we had carried along started to become heavy. If you know what I mean. "Don't tell me we came this far for this Daniel asked and I rolled my eyes. "Got a better idea?" I asked and he smirked. "The beating dungeon." He offered and my eyes went wide. That was the club where our fights were held. I quickly covered my expression and turned to Georgia. "So what are we here for this time."I asked and she smirked. "Your pick it's all on me." I can never say no to such an offer. Plus I've been dreaming for the new ninja king video game.
"I think I know exactly what I want." I winked and she giggled. "Let's go."

Shopping with these two guys got difficult when Georgia chose a department store"I need some stuff." She said to me with a knowing look and I nodded. "Sure why not?" I asked but before I could go in she pulled me back. "There's a problem." She hissed and I turned to the guys. "Oh." I'd actually forgotten that they were tagging along. "Dont mind us,just keeping you safe." Aiden assured but I could tell that Georgia was uncomfortable with it. "Don't worry I got this." I promised and she sighed before agreeing.
One thing I hated about these stores. The perfume girl standing at the entrance. She sprayed the perfume in my face and I lost it, pulled the can from her and sprayed it directly in her face. "Dont like it hmm?" I asked and she coughed hard. "Bitch!" She snapped and I rolled my eyes. "Tough nubs." I answered and tossed her the can.

I sincerely had no interest in these stores. I only ever visited when I was with Bree, Georgia or mom. Otherwise,no interest. Georgia walked far from us and for a known reason, these two didn't even bother going after her. Instead they stayed back to torment me. "Aren't you going to get anything?" Aiden asked and I scoffed. "Are you willing to pay for me?" I asked and he chuckled. "Sure why not?" He asked and i rolled my eyes. It was useless talking to him anyway so I just kept ignoring them until their conversations started engulfing me.
"Hey do you think that would fit Regina?" Aiden asked and Daniel scoffed. "Of course not. That's a G cup. I'm pretty sure she doesnt even make it to D." I swallowed hard trying to hold in my reaction. "How are you sure?" Daniel asked and Aiden chuckled. "Funny story,so you see." Before he could start I knew exactly where this was going and had no interest in listening so I picked a perfume and went out of earshot pretending to be interested in the product.

After the mall trip,I was planning to go home but Georgia wouldn't let me. "We're done shopping, is there anything else you want to do?" I asked and she stared into space. "Well since we have time to spare, why not we look into the bucket list." I must've forgotten to mention this. My crazy bestfriend has a whole bucket list that she wants us to complete before high school ends. "Are you two coming or are you still kissing?" Aiden yelled from the car and I clutched my fists. "Ignore him." Georgia said before her eyes went wide with excitement. "Let's hit the club. Its really interesting this time of the week." I knew Georgia and whenever she got drunk, things didn't go too well. "Are you sure about that?" I asked and she smiled "Trust me nothing will go wrong this time." She promised and I sighed. "Sure why not."
