We headed out again for the town in the east. According to some of the locals we've talked to there is a gem that can help perform spells to weaken curses? I don't know much of that considering I'm not a mage am I?
Surely Ren must know something right?
Wrong... She did not have any idea of an
item with such power... I thought mages were smart but here we are with a mage less knowledgeable than an ant..
It was the first time she ever heard of a gem with an ability like that. Despite Ren having not known such a gem she actually had a good reason for it.
The gem was erased from history. None of the books and grimores she had read ever said anything about a gem with a capability like this. "If we were to get our hands on this gem we'll go down in history!" Ren said as if we could even get our hands on it. Many other adventurer parties were there in the cave it was rumored to be in and they won't hesitate to stop us or even worse kill us.
Ren kept pulling my cloak to go to the cave but I insisted that we should go prepare first. Ren was like a stubborn baby, she wants to go despite the dangerous signs. It's like she wants to die in there!
I eventually do get the courage to just pick her up and head to the inn since I wasn't dealing with her stubbornness at the moment.
