"Hell Hounds? Really? Why can't people just accept their life the way it is. It's not worth selling your friggin' soul," Dean rolled his eyes, huffing out the words he spoke.

"Well, Dean, it'll be easier for us since we now have those holy glasses," Sam looked over at his older brother who was flipping through the latest Busty Asian Women.

"I forgot about those. You still have them?"

"Yeah, in my bag."

"Hm," Dean sat down the magazine, finding no interest in it after he finished the whole thing.

He walked over to the kitchen, grabbing himself an ice cold Budweiser. Snapping it open, he sat himself down in front of Sam.

"So, when are we heading out?"

"As soon as Cas comes back with the groceries I told him to buy," Sam typed away on his laptop, partially listening to the words that were coming from Dean's mouth.

"I got pie," Castiel suddenly popped in, holding two, brown paper bags.

Dean suddenly smelt a mix of hot apple and hot cherry drift into the air around him, "Cas, you're perfect and I love you."

Dean snatched the bags from the angel, taking the plastic containers out of them.

"Oh, uhm... I love you too?"

"Where's the other stuff I told you to buy?" Sam look at Castiel, furrowing his brows.

"Oh look at the time," Castiel looked down at his bare wrist, "time to start hunting. Come on, Dean, you can eat later."

"But I just got-"

"Dean."

"Fine."

-

"Get in the damn salt circle and stay there!" Dean pointed at the salt circle Sam was finishing up, raising his voice at the man.

"Oh yeah, like a circle of salt will save me," The man rolled his eyes, reluctantly entering the circle.

"Just trust us," Sam packed away the salt into his bag and tossed a pair of glasses to Dean.

Dean put on the glasses, blade ready in hand. Sam did the same, guarding the man behind him.

Castiel suddenly appeared in front of Dean, giving him a small nod, "They are all dead. You are welcome."

"God dammit, Ca-!" Dean stared at the angel in front of him, studying the beaten down, crumbling wings attached to him, "I wanted to kill them," Dean mumbled, still in awe of the sight.

"Dean? Is something wrong?" Castiel cocked his head to the side, inspecting the hunter.

"N-no, everything is fine.."

Sam had already taken his glasses off before he had turned towards the two, "Thanks, Cas, but you didnt need to do all the work. We could've helped."

"Don't worry, Sam, it's alright. Happy to help."

-

They all had gone home to the bunker, doing their own thing. Sam was helping Kevin, Dean was resting in his room, and Castiel was playing with the kittens on Dean's bedroom floor.

"Cas, can you be a little quieter? I need to get some sleep," Dean looked over at the angel who was holding the kitten, Dean.

"I'm sorry, would you like me to go somewhere else?" Castiel looked up at the hunter, frowning slightly.

"Come here," Dean suddenly stood up, expanding his arms as a gesture for a hug.

Confused, Castiel stood up, setting the kitten down; he embraced Dean, placing his face in the crook of Dean's neck.

"I didn't know that you were so... damaged," Dean hugged the angel tighter.

"Dean, I didn't want you to see them.."

"Shh," He pulled away slightly, looking into the other's eyes, "I'm glad that I did... Cas, I.. you're family, and family help each other whenever they are in trouble. If there's anything that I can do, know that I will in a heartbeat."

"Thank you, Dean."
