Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. They were the last people you'd expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious, because they just didn't hold with such nonsense.
Mr. Dursley was the director of a firm called Grunnings, which made drills. He was a big, beefy man with hardly any neck, although he did have a very large mustache. Mrs. Dursley was thin and blonde and had nearly twice the usual amount of neck, which came in very useful as she spent so much of her time craning over garden fences, spying on the neighbors. The Dursleys had a small son called Dudley and, in their opinion, there was no finer boy anywhere.
The Dursleys had everything they wanted, but they also had a secret, and their greatest fear was that somebody would discover it. They didn't think they could bear it if anyone found out about the Boy. If somebody would have looked around the house, there would have been no sign of him, no Pictures, no Bedroom. Nothing that would give out that they were Horting another child.
The Boy's name was Harry, Harry Potter. He was a short, too short for his age, 10 years old boy with raven black hair that seemed to be unbearable to go through. Due to the Black contrast of his Hair, he seems to be having a paler skin tone. Though even without the black hair, he had pale skin. His round but skinny face had big round glasses, that looked to be broken in any sense, on them, they were mostly hiding his big green eyes. His nose looked to be broken, broken healed and then broken again. He was wearing too big Clothes, that looked beyond use, they were four times bigger than what would fit. Under those were scars hidden all over his Body where it wasn't visible. Some where from being outside, others from the years of abuse that started when he was finally able to walk.
That little child was just done doing his chores when Dudley decided to be funny again. He was going out in the Dirt, walked a bit and came running in again. Now, due to it having rained just some hours ago, the dirt was wet and now Dudley made everything dirty again. Harry just sighed, this was nothing new for Dudley to be doing, so Harry just stands up and got the cleaning stuff.
He flinched, when he heard the front door unlocking and an angry murmuring. That was Mr. Dursley coming home and with that, Harry knew he was screwed. Mr. Dursley was going to be angry at him, for not finishing his Chores in time. Harry hastily tried to clean the dirty Floor, but he was too slow. The Door opened and Mr. Dudley came through it. His fat face getting tomato red in anger as he saw the dirty floor. "Boy! I swear to god, if you aren't her as I finish this sentence!", he yelled and Harry let everything fall and run to his Uncle just before it was too late. Harry tried to make himself smaller as he already is and watched cautiously every move. Every hectic move made Harry flinch. "My face is up here freak!", yelled the giant meatball. Another flinch. Harry looked at his uncle, his face full of fear. "Apparently you are too good for chores?! Am I right?! You think you are too good for them, you fucking freak! you are so fucking spoiled! Do you want to also eat now?! Huh?! Answer me you freak!", Harry didn't say something, if he did, he would of made it worse. "I said answer! Oh~ now you are also too good to answer your uncle?! If that is how it is!", and *slap*. Harry immediately curled into a ball when he landed on the floor.
It is now 1 weeks before his Birthday, he didn't like his Birthday. Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia decided to give him the worst beatings on that day and he was to be almost never be released out of his room for three days before and after that day. He had to make them dinner or serve them but beside that, he was to not be released.
Out of any reason there was Mail for him coming endlessly through the Mailbox, under the door and even hidden in eggs! He was confused, because his aunt and uncle seemed to be in fear? Or was it more of Disgust? He really didn't know. Why he wasn't allowed to read it, confused him also.
2 Days before his Birthday. Harry was just finished making cookies and started serving them. Uncle Vernon sat down at the breakfast table looking tired and rather ill, but happy. "No post on Sundays," he reminded them cheerfully as he spread marmalade on his newspapers, "no damn letters today --"
Something came whizzing down the kitchen chimney as he spoke and caught him sharply on the back of the head. Next moment, thirty or forty letters came pelting out of the fireplace like bullets. The Dursleys ducked, but Harry leapt into the air trying to catch one.
"Out! OUT!" his uncle yelled.
Uncle Vernon seized Harry around the waist and threw him into the hall. When Aunt Petunia and Dudley had run out with their arms over their faces, Uncle Vernon slammed the door shut. They could hear the letters still streaming into the room, bouncing off the walls and floor. "That does it," said Uncle Vernon, trying to speak calmly but pulling great tufts out of his mustache at the same time. I want you all back here in five minutes ready to leave. We're going away. Just pack some clothes. No arguments!"
He had nothing to pack, so he just sat himself in the car. He waited for around 10 minutes when everyone arrived. As everyone was seated, his uncle began driving, not caring if their seatbelts were on or not. He drove much too fast for Harry to even realize what is even happening. Uncle Vernon muttered something about; "Shake'em off... shake 'em of". Harry just closed his eyes and tried to sleep, hoping they would forget to wake him, and he could escape to wherever they would go.
