"Ayun, honey please open the door. You haven't eaten today." mom pleaded as
she continued to knock on my door.
"Has jungwon come back yet?" I muttered.
Its been a year since he left, and I'm still like this. Taesan is still with me.
I was surprised when he said he didn't want to break up. He still loves
me.
"I- no he hasn't, I'm sorry." mom replied.
I sighed "Please, leave me be."

It was the next day, and I came out of my room early in the morning to visit
Ms. Yang's house to see if jungwon had come back.
Just as I was about to knock, I heard sobs. I put my ear to the door.
"Your lying. Tell me this is a joke. Please!" Ms. Yang shouted.
"I'm sorry Ms.Yang, but this is serious." an unfamiliar voice replied.
"What happened- how did this happen? Are you sure that it was him?"
Ms. Yang asked.
"He told us before he passed, Ms. Yang." the voice answered.
"I'm sorry for your loss, Ms. Yang." the voice said.
Just then the door opened, revealing a police officer and a tear-faced Ms. Yang.
The police officer walked past me before I rushed to Ms. Yang, leading her to the sofa.
"What happened, Ms. Yang? Why are you crying?" I asked, worried.
"Ayun, jungwon's gone."
