Chapter 2: Part of The Team

I honestly don't know why I couldn't shoot him. He just looked perfect to me. This is the first time i've actually had feelings for my victim.
"God Lester's gunna be pissed.." I said to myself as I went down the ladder on the side of the building.
Not really thinking straight, I walked out onto the street where more explosions were taking place. I didn't care if I got hurt, I needed to see him.. Vanoss.

- Vanoss POV -
"Blow em' up boys!"
My gang of 5, Basically, Wildcat, Delirious, Miniladd, and Diathi were having a little fun on the street blowing up and shooting everything we saw, then a girl stepped out from behind a run-down building. She didn't look scared of us at all which was kinda new.
I raised my hand to stop everyone from whatever they were doing, and we all looked at the same figure from the building. She stared at us and we did the same.
"Who the fuck-"
"Shut up delirious.. You guys stay here" I said as I calmly walked toward the girl. I couldn't see anything but her e/c eyes, the rest was covered by a bandana. She kinda looked like she was from a gang herself! Delirious probably thought the same cause he had a gun aimed right at her.
I was finally face to face with the fearless girl.
"What's up with you?" I asked
She pulled down her bandana and took out her hand.
"I'm y/n, I'm an assassin that was hired to kill you but I changed my mind and I wanted to know if...maybe I could join your gang.."
This was a bit suprising to me.. I was targeted for assassination..
I smirked and shook her hand. 'Better get on her good side or she'll try to kill me again!' I thought
"Welcome y/n, your now part of the team." she laughed and while we shook hands she pulled me into a hug. Which made me blush a bit but I kept cool.
"Um.. Here, let me introduce you to the gang." I said awkwardly
"That can wait," she said "We should get going first."
I looked up the demolished street and saw a couple SWAT cars speeding towards us. Y/n then grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the building she popped out of, the gang following as well. Behind the building was a white (or color of your choice) truck that i'm guessing was hers.
"Hop in."
