An upbeat song filled the Casita with lively rhythms, Camilo seized the opportunity, twirling you around with infectious energy. Laughter bubbled between the two of you, "How about that dance?" Camilo asked with a grin, referring to your offer from earlier. You smiled before nodding.
Immediately, you bust out your silly dance moves, Camilo laughs before joining you with his own silly moves. The two of you seemed to be having the time of your lives, the way you and Camilo swayed, spun, and embraced the joy of the moment, surrounded by the lively tunes that matched the spirit of the night.
Suddenly, a change in the music signaled the arrival of a slow song. Camilo couldn't help but giggle as your eyes darted around, wondering who had suddenly taken over the music, this sudden shift is no move of any professional.
"I guess fate wants us to be more proper," Camilo quipped, holding his hand out to you.
"I can't slow dance, I don't even know how to," you playfully rolled your eyes, a smile playing on your lips.
Camilo chuckled, his eyes sparkling,
"Don't worry, I'll guide you."
"Can't we just sit this one out or something," you laugh a little at the thought of your own lack of talent if you were to partake in slow dancing, especially with a cute looking half stranger.
"C'mon, it will be fun, I promise," Camilo now holds out both hands, looking at you with assurance, making you really consider his offer.
As the slow melody enveloped the Casita, you decide to take his hands and he took the lead. The two of you swayed gently, and with each step, he guided you through the dance. You step on his foot a couple of times, resulting in shared playful laughter, before the dancing continues. You two are filled with so much joy, neither of you can take this "properly" at all. As you guys are having so much fun, in even the slow dancing, the world outside the dance floor seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you lost in the tender embrace of the slow song.
Under the soft glow of the lights, you discovered the magic of slow dancing, following Camilo's lead with growing ease. The playful banter turned into shared smiles, and before you could gaze into his eyes for too long, an unexpected interruption unfolded. The twins from earlier burst onto the dance floor, their energetic laughter echoing through the room.
"Camilo! There you are!" the girl twin exclaimed, her brother grinning in agreement. They seemed oblivious to the bonding atmosphere that had taken hold between the candy and the chameleon. You and Camilo exchanged a bemused glance, interrupted mid-dance by the exuberant twins.
"Camilo you have got to see this place before the moon is blocked by the trees, come onnnnn!" the boy twin declared, pulling at Camilo's arm.
Camilo, with a good-natured smile, looked back at you apologetically.
"If I don't go now, they will definitely not leave me alone for the rest of the night."
You chuckled, realizing that the unexpected interruptions seemed to be a theme for the night.
"That's ok, we can pull off our grand dance finale another time," you said, earning a giggle out of Camilo before the twins drag him off in their enthusiastic quest to share their newfound discovery.
You decide to wander off in search of food, the enchanting notes of the slow song nearing its end lingered in the air, it felt like it was promising the potential for more magical moments in the unpredictable dance of the night.
