I smiled, trying to calm down the anger. I glanced at his swords, one had been slightly unsheathed. The blade was good quality, and I could tell he knew how to use it up to its full potential.
All of a sudden, there was another deadly aura, I wanted to die. Behind the swordsman stood a looming figure, his hand placed on the swordsman's shoulder. Darkness was radiating out of his hand. The swordsman aura also grew, I took a step back, in front of me stood two demons. The person behind the swordsman was smiling, I recognized that smile, except this time it wasn't the smile of a cat about to pounce on its prey, rather, it was the smile of a lion, not hunting, but a lion going up against another lion, the lion that trespassed on its territory.
'Do we have a problem here?' the lion asked, his voice laced with death.
'No, not at all, I was just asking this man about his swords. That one is really a good quality blade by the way, but I'm sure you know that already.' WHAT AM I DOING, WHY AM I JUST SPEAKING ABOUT HIS SWORDS, I NEED TO GET HIM OUT OF HERE BEFORE HIS THROAT IS RIPPED OUT.
'Sir, is there a problem.' he asked again, this time directed to the swordsman.
'No, sorry for bothering you. ' the swordsman said, his deep voice echoing around in my head. He stepped away, threw a glare at me and walked back to his crew. They looked at him confused, and he just shook his head.
'What was that?' Paul asked. I just smiled. 'Nothing, he just seems highly strung is all. How do you suppose he holds that third sword?'
'Between his buttcheeks, I don't know.' Paul smiled.
'THATS WHAT I THOUGHT.' I laughed.
He chuckled. 'OK, so your're safe, I don't need to sort that guy out?' I shook my head.
'I'm curious, why did you help me?' I asked, genuinely wondering.
'I don't know, I just really like your vibe, and plus, I can't let anyone get in the way of our date later.' he winked again, this time with a normal smile.
I smiled, and walked off. I decided to find a place where I can observe as much as possible, and so I went and stood by a wall, from here I could see Gale, the waiter, Paul and his friends and the pirates. Gale seemed to be having a conversation with the cook, and Paul seemed to be eyeing him, sometimes glancing over at me. I looked at the pirate crew, but the swordsman was missing, I looked around but couldn't find him. All of a sudden, I heard a familiar voice.
'Make sure your bodyguard over there stays far away.'
I smiled and looked to where the voice had come from, he was hiding from Paul behind a crowd of people.
'Don't worry, I will make sure he stays there, also, he's not my bodyguard, I met him a few minutes ago.'
The swordsman looked confused, but then shook his head.
'why did you keep staring at me and then searching for me?'
'I told you earlier, i' m curious.'
'About?'
' you, how you seem so powerful, your dangerous aura, and how you managed to scare even me.'
He lifted one eyebrow. 'what, do you not get scared easily?'
I shook my head. 'no, it's just I know nobody will ever beat me. But for some reason I felt like you would be able to kill me.'
'you think you could beat me? Really? That's crazy. You got that feeling because I could kill you.'
I smiled tauntingly at him. 'oh yeah?'
'yup, 100%'
I smiled and looked around, Paul was looking in my direction and had stood up.
