Marinette's Fashion Show

The Incident

"With only a few days left before school starts again, let's take a look back on a summer that transformed the world. Professor du Boucquale explains to us how." Nadja said from Marinette's monitor. "We all remember the worldwide nightmare epidemic followed by the victory of Ladybug over Monarch." Professor du Boucquale said as Marinette redesigned all of the Miraculous that she has retrieved back from Monarch while Alya and Grand Master Su-Han are watching her in awe, as well as the Kwamis. "And how the swarm of magic ladybugs swarmed the planet to repair everything and free us. This even raised global awareness. We humans have accomplished incredible things throughout history. But still, we often fall victim to our emotions, because no one teaches us how to understand or deal with them." Professor du Boucquale said as Marinette opens an empty box, where the Butterfly Miraculous should be placed. "If we don't listen to what our fears, sadness or anger are trying to tell us..." Professor du Boucquale got cut off as Alya turned off the monitor. "Still no trace of the Miraculous of the Butterfly?" Su-Han said as Marinette puts down the empty box on her table. "After the wish, all I could find was the double wedding ring, along with the Miraculous that Monarch had turned into rings and Chat Noir's and mine. I transformed into Aquabug and searched the basement but nothing. Even after repairing everything, it's as if the brooch had disappeared! But whatever happens, we'll be ready." She said as she then transformed into Ladybug and gave each of the Miraculouses back to their respective holders. "When Monarch seized my yo-yo, he suddenly gained access to all Miraculous at once. That can never happen again, which is why I'll remain the Guardian, but only to support and help my fellow heroes. From now on, each holder will be responsible for the Miraculous and their Kwami. To be sure that this power is used for the greater good, it needs to be shared." She said as she looked at them all. By the Eiffel Tower, the Miraculous team, including Bunnyx and Argos, are all gathered together. Ladybug waited for them as Chat Noir joined her side shortly. "Glad to see you again, Milady!" Chat Noir said as he looked at her.

Emilié was walking down the staircase of the new mansion when she suddenly tripped over the carpet and fell down the stairs. Hearing something snap, she didn't feel confident that she should move so she didn't. She laid there for felt like hours until Adrien and Nathalie came back from their shopping trip. At the sight of her father, Adrien dropped everything and went over to him. "Nathalie call an ambulance." Adrien ordered as Nathalie nodded and proceeded to use her cell phone to call the paramedics. "Mother, are you okay? What happened?" He said worriedly as he kneeled beside her. "I tripped on the carpet and fell down the stairs. I heard something snap so don't move me until help arrives." She said. Adrien nodded as he took out his phone and dialed Marinette's phone number. "Marinette speaking." She said as she answered the phone. "Marinette, I need you. I um... My father fell down the stairs." Adrien said his voice was breaking as he started crying.
"Adrien? I'm on my way." She asked him, hearing him hesitate and cry through the phone. "I'll be there in a few minutes." She said as she ran out of the apartment grabbing her helmet and jacket. "Just keep talking to me, Adrien." She said as she got onto her bike. "I was having such a good day. Me and Nathalie went shopping for a birthday present for my mother." He said as she rode her bike to his house and hung up as she stormed through the gate and swung open the large mansion doors. Seeing Emilié on the ground blood sweeping out of her right leg and a huge gash on her head. "Madame Agreste?!" Marinette said dropping her things along with her helmet and running over to him. "Nathalie, grab the first aid kit! We need a tourniquet to cut off the blood loss." She said looking around and seeing Adrien's pants. "Give me your belt, Adrien." She said softly. "Okay, I imagined you saying that under entirely different circumstances." He said without thinking as he undid his belt and handed it to her. She blushed heavily and gave him a look. "Severely platonic circumstances." He said as she took the belt and wrapped it around her leg. She then tightened it which made Emilié scream out in pain. "I'm sorry but that was the only way to stop the bleeding." She said softly as she looked at Adrien then looked down at Emilié as Nathalie came over with the first aid kit. "Thanks." She said as she opened it and took out some gauze and placed it on her head stopping the bleeding from her head. Then the paramedics rushed into the lobby with a stretcher and a trauma bag. Nathalie rushed over and helped the paramedics remove the seatbelts. Then they accessed Emilié's injuries placing a C-collar onto her neck to prevent more injuries to her neck. They then placed a splint onto her leg which was badly injured. The paramedics then placed him onto the stretcher. "Thank you, Marinette." Adrien said as the phone rang in Emilié's office. Adrien looked over worried. "No, you two stay with him!" The two looked at her strangely. "No seriously, Go! I got this." She said as she looked at them. They simply nodded and followed after the paramedics with his mother. She went over and answered the phone. "Hello you have reached the Agreste Residence. This is Marinette Dupain-Cheng speaking." Marinette said. "Hey Marinette. It's Nino. What are you doing at The Agreste's Mansion?" Nino asked her as he added Ayla to the call. "Hey Nino, oh Marinette." Ayla said as Marinette looked at Nathalie's schedule that was on her desk. Next weekend included a new swimsuit launch that hadn't been completed yet. "I just saw that there is so much to be done for the swimsuit launch next weekend! The designs haven't even been finished yet. I'm going to hang up and add the others to a group video call, hold on!" Marinette said as she hung up then added the rest of their friends to a group video call. "What's up girl?" Alya asked, showing her and Nino. "Marinette, what's up?" Adrien, Luka, Jeluka, Rose, Kim, Max, Nathaniel, Marc, Zoe, and Alix asked simultaneously. They all started giggling at themselves. Kagami, Luka, Jeluka and Rose were on their boat, Max was in his room with Marcov flying in the background. Kim and Alix were at the ice skating rink. "Emilié had a fashion show planned to release his new swimsuit line but she hasn't completed all of the designs yet. It's in a week from today. Some of the preparations were already made." She said. "How about you complete the designs, Marinette?" Alya offered. "Yeah, that would be amazing! The office launch of our new brand!" Adrien said immediately agreeing. "Yeah but I'm not that good, plus it's really short notice." Marinette said. "You can do this, Mademoiselle Dupain-Cheng. Your designs are amazing." Nathalie said from the background of Adrien's phone. "If Nathalie and Adrien both say your designs are good then go ahead and do it!" Emilié said. "Thanks guys. I won't let you down! And Oh Alya! Adrien wants me and his mom to work together in running Agreste Brand!" Marinette said excitedly. "That's amazing, Marinette." Alya said. "I'm so excited for you, dudette." Nino said and Marinette blushing. "It's about time, your amazing designs deserve to be recognized." Kagami said, everyone began giggling at Marinette. "I was thinking of renaming it to become 'Agreste and Dupain-Cheng Fashion'. I would make the catchphrase be 'Clothing made by Paris' Everyday Ladybug!' That would be amazing." Adrien said from the hospital as he wrote down his ideas. "Who is Paris' Everyday Ladybug?" Emilié said in the background. "Marinette." Everyone said simultaneously as Marinette blushed bright red. "I need to complete the designs make the clothes. I will somebody to help with scheduling the after party and getting models to wear all of the outfits. I was wondering if you all can help me and be our models." Marinette asked them. "Of course we will help you out. Marinette?" Alya said. "Thank you so much! Adrien, stay with your mom, you guys have a lot to catch up on. But everyone else, and Nathalie pretty please could you meet me at the Agreste Mansion. We have a fashion show to plan." Marinette said as she looked at them. "We are on it!" Alya said and everyone agreed before hanging up. 'Also could I possibly get permission to renovate the mansion permanently? I think that it needs more love.' Marinette texted Adrien. 'Mom said go for it!' Adrien replied. 'Yay! It's going to be amazing but I forgot about how I'm supposed to afford the changes.' Marinette texted back. 'Don't worry, do whatever you want, we will cover it. Make it homely.' Adrien replied. 'On it! 🥰🏰 Operation: Loving Castle is a go!' She texted back. 'So cute, Marinette.' Adrien replied. 'You are going to be so happy. Your home will be unrecognizable! But in the best way. 🥰' Marinette said as she called up multiple decorators and ordered what she needed to be delivered and installed right away.
Soon, all their friends and the workers met up at the Agreste Mansion and Marinette gave them their tasks. They all got to work on redecorating over the next week. She started out with the outside property. She consulted the blueprints and created a beautiful large and but deep stone fountain that was also used as a pool which had a heating/cooling/sprinkler/cleaning features built in to it. She added a music room to the first floor with a grand piano, a bookshelf for sheet music, a small recording studio, guitars with stands, drum set, lighting system, microphones with stands, a well equipped sound system which Luka, Max and Nino worked together to set up. Then transformed one of the rooms into a parlor for the guests. They installed bookshelves and filled with books, they installed a foosball table, a pool table, a T.V., a couch, two recliners, a long glass coffee table, and a few beanbag chairs. There was also a mini fridge as well. Then multiple teams of painters came in and painted all of the walls of mansion to an lime green color with an emerald green accent. The walls had the rainbow of different colored flowers making it more cheerful. She transformed the foyer into a massive ballroom complete with tables, chairs, couches, a dj booth which was hooked up throughout the mansion. At the entrance there were multiple coat and hat racks. She ordered a massive framed photo of Adrien and Emilié, she had it placed on the center wall of the staircase. They transformed the room to the left of the dining room into a security area and employee break room with a T.V., couch, beanbag chairs, a coffee tables a large desk with multiple monitors. An electronic charging station with all kinds of cords for all devices. Lastly, Luka, Max and Nino installed a mansion wide sound system. They removed the safe but kept the painting, moving it into the lounge. She looked at the blueprints of mansion and saw a side entrance to the lair, she sent construction team downstairs into his lair, she had them remove all of the metal panels from the windows and add a few more windows which allows more sunlight into the area. Then a few hired hands helped Marinette and the other girls remove the catwalks and turn it into a solid surface. The garden was made out of stone and dirt. They transformed the once gloomy place into a Secret Garden with a stone pathway, lined with all sorts of beautiful flowers. They moved Adrien's mother statue down into it and placed it at the center. Then an open window for the butterflies to come and go. She had help moving in and planting several kinds of fruit trees, and vegetables. They all were able to have the correct amount of sunlight and Marinette even installed an irrigation system to keep them all growing harmoniously and healthy. They paved the other half with concrete which took forever to dry before they added the large digital telescope and placed carpet onto it. Marinette added a T.V., a mini fridge, a few beanbag chairs and two twin beds. Marinette asked the workers to replace the elevator making it in a more convenient place and more accessible for everyone. She went up to the second floor and cut Adrien's bedroom in half in order to add a third room. She redecorated his room, she put his wardrobe and bookshelf besides each other. She moved his bed and placed it by his desk and the bathroom. She kept foosball table and arcade games moving them along the wall in between the stairs and window. She got rid of the piano, stripper pole, skating ramps, slides, basketball court, rock wall and the zipline. She moved the T.V. and couch back against the window, she put his cupboards and fridge besides the television stand. She shortened the making the bookshelves and walkway wrap around the room, she created a crawlspace that had a ladder leading up into the attic. The crawlspace had a false wall which opened when the Ultimate Strike video game was moved. She added a third room for Emilié. She added brand-new everything including the wallpaper. She gave Emelié, a queen sized bedpost, side tables, dresser all with a classic victorian era theme. After she finished Emelié's bedroom, she made her way up to the third floor and completely gutted Gabriel's bedroom. She then divided it into two separate rooms, Marinette created the Designer's Lounge on the third floor in between the parlor and guest bedroom room. The room was equipped with a printer, an array of sketchbooks, a T.V., a couch with a mini fridge for breaks. A tablet and stylus at each of the evenly spaced six stations, as well as a trash bins and scrap fabric bins. In the drawers, you'd find scissors, snacks and drinks. Multiple different body sized mannequins. The fabric on one side of the room and supplies are stored away in properly labelled organizers and spaces on the other.

By the end of the week, Emilié had 2 beach themed formal wear designs, and Marinette had 13 completed designs of her own creations for the fashion show.
