Marinette's Fashion Show

Paris' Everyday Ladybug

As the fashion show started, a hush came over the crowd of reporters and aspiring designers. Marinette sat in the front row, pleased as she watched Zoé and Adrien walk out wearing beach outfits. Zoé wore a beautiful yellow one piece swimsuit with bees embroidered on it. Adrien wore a pair of black and green swim shorts with green paw prints embroidered onto them. They made their way down the runway, and showed off their respective outfits before turning around and walking back. Then Alya and Nino walked out. Alya wore an orange bikini with orange and black foxes embroidered on it. Nino wore lime green swim shorts with dark green turtles embroidered on them. They walked down the catwalk hand in hand and displayed the outfits. They turned and went back as Luka and Kagami walked out. Kagami was wearing a one piece red swim suit with black dragons embroidered onto it. Luka wore blue swim shorts with blue and green snakes embroidered onto them. They displayed their outfits before heading back. Jeluka and Rose walked out wearing beautiful dresses. Jeluka's one piece had pink tigers embroidered on them. Rose's one piece swimsuit was pink with pigs embroidered onto it. They modelled them for the cameras before heading back. Myléne and Ivan walked wearing a couple themed swimsuits. Myléne wore a one piece which was grey with grey mice on it. Ivan had a dark grey swimsuit with gold oxs embroidered on them. They showed off their swimsuits and headed back as Max and Kim walked down. Max wore black swim trunks with white and grey horses on them. Kim wore orange swim trunks with orange monkeys on them. They showed off their swimsuits and headed back as Marc and Nathaniel walked down. Nathaniel wore a white swim trunks with grey goats embroidered on them. Marc wore orange swim suits with red and orange roosters embroidered on them. They showed off their swimsuits and headed back as Marinette and Alix walked down. Marinette wore a red one piece swim suit with black dots on it. Alix was wearing a white bikini with blue rabbits embroidered on to them. They headed back and joined up with everyone else.

As the show concludes to the raucous cheers of the crowd, Marinette and Adrien strolled up with her friends all wearing her designs. Adrien smiled as his father joined them on stage and took the mic. "I wouldn't be here tonight without the help of my son Adrien's dear friend, Marinette Dupain-Cheng." Emilié said into the microphone. A spotlight fixated on her, and Marinette blushed heavily as everyone turned towards her. "Some of you may already know Marinette Dupain-Cheng. She is responsible for creating most of the designs you have seen today. She is really talented and her designs deserve to be recognized. Most of you probably know her. She has probably bumped into you, quite literally. She is very clumsy but she means well. She has probably sat down with you and heard your stories. Or she has encouraged you, or helped you. She probably even saved you from becoming the worst part of yourselves." Adrien said as he handed the microphone over to his mother. "She has always there to help the people of Paris no matter what. She is kind, caring and she inspires goodness in the people around her. She renovated this place which always felt like a prison to me and made it into an actual home. We owe her so much and from this point on after much discussion. We have decided that we will be rebranding this company into 'Agreste and Dupain-Cheng Fashion'. Our new motto is 'Clothing made by Paris' very own Everyday Ladybug!' She is the reason most of us are still here. So we would like to say a few words about our Everyday Ladybug." Emilié announced as she passed on the microphone. She felt so happy that she could have melted through the floorboards. Alya grabbed the microphone from Adrien and smiled. "She once said 'If we wish to change the world, we must all learn to love each other.' We want to show Paris just how much we have learned from her." Alya said as she looked at her friend. Max grabbed the microphone from Alya.

"Ladybug said to me that 'Everyone can feel negative emotions from time to time. It's important to accept that, and forgive. Follow your heart!' Marinette always follows her heart and does what she knows to be right. She really is our Everyday Ladybug." Max said looking at her. Marinette began crying, while also blushing heavily as Kagami took the microphone. "Marinette was my first friend and even though she was distant at first she has always encouraged me to follow my heart." Kagami said looking at her before handing them all turned as Luka appeared on the stage with Alix. Marinette grabbed a tissue and wiped away her tears. "Marinette is the most extraordinary girl. Ever since the day I met her I have know that she is as clear as a musical note and as sincere as a melody." Luka said before handing the microphone over to Alix. "She always makes sure that we are happy and safe before worrying about her own safety. She fights for what she believes in. No matter the consequences." Alix said smiling and Nino appeared. "Because of Marinette, I met Alya and fell in love. She also never gives up on trying to help the people around her." Nino said as he handed the microphone to Jeluka. "She helped me break my curse and encouraged me to be myself and I asked out Rose." Jeluka said as she handed the microphone to Myléne. "She encouraged Ivan to ask me out and I couldn't be happier." Myléne said smiling as she passed on the microphone. "She was my first love and she helped me find Marc, my closest friend." Nathaniel said as he and Marc smiled as Nathaniel handed the microphone to Zoé. Marinette was full on crying as she listened to their words, already halfway through a box of tissues. "She is really amazing, because of her words I realized that I could be myself. 'No one will judge you here. You can just be yourself. You might trip, you might fall, and there'll always be someone to pick you back up. I'll always be there for you!' That's what Marinette said to me and I was able to make a lot of new friends because of her." Zoé said smiling as she looked at the bluenette girl who was crying. "She was attacked and threatened by Chloé Bourgeois and Lila Rossi. She had awful and completely untrue rumors spread about her but she never wanted to drag anyone else into her mess. She really is Paris' Everyday Ladybug!" Adrien said as they all held out their hands to her, and Marinette was crying as she walked onto the stage and hugged them all. "You guys are awesome! But you made me ruin my makeup! I probably look like a mess!" She said laughing softly as she wiped her tears away. She smiled happily as she stood at her friend's side. "I present to you, Paris. Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Paris' Everyday Ladybug!" Adrien announced and the cameras flashed in Marinette's vision. She smiled as she hugged Adrien and her friends as they smiled towards the cameras. Cheering roared in her ears. "Can you send us copies of all your guys' pictures please? I want to make a friendship board of us." She asked the photographers. "Sure!" They said simultaneously before they all started laughing. "Time for us to get change and start this party!" Alya shouted and everyone left and gathered in the ballroom. Everyone went to their dressing rooms and got changed into their outfits for the party.
