Blade x Reader (Angst)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Blade, where are you?" I giggled. These days were peaceful, getting to spend time with each other, nothing getting in the way. No more mara-struck, no more stellaron hunters, and no more stellaron crisis. I wandered around the train that we now resided in, looking for the love of my life. "Blaaaaaaade," I called out smiling.
I rounded the corner of Dan Heng's room, headed to the door of the main hall when I got jumped by Blade. He started tickling my sides, giving me no time to breathe and letting out a hearty laugh. He slowed his assault and eventually brought me into a warm hug. He dug his face into the crook of my neck and we stayed in the silence, happier than could be.
We joined everyone in the main hall, getting ready for the jump to Jarilo-IV for a special celebration. It was the last stop, with everyone from planets before joining us to the last stop. Jumping was easier than it used to be, but Blade made it much easier to get through.
When we arrived, we got off the express and headed into town. So many familiar faces flooded the town, but I really wanted to visit the undercity and reminisce. Blade ushered me ahead so he could meet every that I had, and I headed straight to the underground. Surprisingly, there was no one here and walking through the somewhat of a ghost town helped my memories replay themselves.
I had wrongly assumed they had cleared out all the Fragmentum monsters and I was too far in to safely run back out. Further in I ran, hiding everywhere I could, then I realized that there was no one down here at all. No one was down here because of the Fragmentum. What was I going to do, I couldn't get out of here safely alone now.
I decided it would be safer where Clara used to be at a refuge, but once I got there I was met with more Fragmentum. What was going on here? I backed up and backed into a monster I hadn't realized was behind me. I was carrying a huge axe which it attacked me with, I barely managed to avoid a serious injury. Blood dropped to the snow, the rest of the monsters looked over.
I started running away, but it didn't matter when I was cornered. I barely made it outside the gate when I was forced of the edge of the cliff that was there. I tumbled down, cursing myself for not waiting for Blade. Tears left my eyes.
I landed harshly on the ground, rolling to a stop on my back. Spots filled my vision along with the tears. My life replayed, specifically everything that happened with Blade. My love. Everything was getting colder, and I was desperately wishing I was with him. "I'm.. Sorry... my lo..ve" I gasped out.
The sound of a sword meeting monster pulled me back slightly, just enough to notice one of Blade's signature moves from the path above. I tried to reach out to him, but couldn't move my limbs. "B.. Bla... de" I struggled.
When I saw him running towards me, my vision blacked out.
I opened my eyes, sitting taller than I normally did. I saw my body in Blade's arms, I looked at my see through hands. Ghostly tears fell down my face, matching Blade's. My ghost-like body swooped down to look Blade in his eyes, pain and hurt evident in them. I never wanted him to get hurt like this again.
Time passed.
I now attended my own funeral. Everyone was there. I cried.
Blade wasn't doing well.
I stuck close to him though.
