Eden
Christofer's house was empty as usual so he hurried me up to his bedroom. A large, plush king sized bed sat in the middle of his floor in the master bedroom. I paused at the door until he rested his hands on my hips and gave me a quick shove.
I tumbled forward, falling face first onto his mattress. I propped myself up on my elbows, trying to regain my balance. Of course he had other plans.
His soft fingers traced the waistband of my pants, slowly making their way to the buttons. My breath caught in my throat as he skillfully slipped the denim of my legs.
"You should learn to be more presentable." he muttered, staring down at my Target brand panties in distaste.
I knew better than to argue so I came up with a quick excuse of: the rest of the good ones were in the laundry. He ignored me and opened the side table drawer pulling out a condom and something hidden in a plastic case.
I knew all too well what was in that case, but I tried so hard not to think about it. He didn't use to right away, instead he prepared for impact. I squeezed my eyes shut and pressed my face into the sheets. I could feel the heat emitting from his body as he pressed himself against me. I bit my lip and sharply inhaled through my nose.
"Alright; you're so beautiful you know?" he whispered, biting my ear as he spoke. I shuddered as his tongue circled the captive in my ear.
"Just...go!" I hissed, craning my neck to look him in the eyes
He smirked, his white teeth flashed from behind his rosy lips. "Need me that bad, huh." He chuckled and then his face became serious. "I'll make you wait then. Go ahead and squirm a bit, then."
"Oh great" I muttered, raking my fingernails down my cheeks.
Duncan
after we finished making love for the first time in days, she curled up in my arms and I lit up a smoke. Her steady breathing calmed my racing heart: the nicotine helped some too.
She always went off like a firework; the burning sensation was always the sweetest victory. Her afterglow is just as sweet.
She pressed her lips to my neck as I took a long, comfortable drag. "Duncan" she whispered, "I need to tell you something....."
I smiled down at her, resting my chin lightly on the crown of her blue-black hair. "Yes?" I whispered a sultry tinge to my voice.
She stirred beneath me, her bare skin smooth against my legs. "I uh..." she paused, "Love you." A warm smile spread across my face.
"I love you too, Abigail." I said back. I kissed her forehead and pulled her back against me. She was breathing down my neck now, a little bit more ragged than before but I took it as a sign of embarrassment rather than pain.
Eventually my phone alarm I had set earlier went off: it was five thirty and her father would be home soon. I tilted her head towards me so I could kiss her one last time before I left.
"I'll see you tomorrow. Abby" I asked, staring into her dark eyes. A glassy haze clouded them and she looked about to cry. "Abigail?" I whispered.
"Yes. I'll call you or something, okay?" She replied, her lip quivering. I hesitantly removed myself from beneath her and searched her bedroom floor of my clothes. I tugged my pants up around my hips and fastened my studded belt. I paused before putting my shirt back on, staring down at her perfection with adoring eyes.
Her face was buried in her pillow so she didn't notice me watching her. The smooth ivory silk of her skin glowed as it caught the sunlight streaming in from her open window. Her blue-black hair fell in twisted strands down her back, flashing grey each time she moved. I knew I loved her.
Abigail
As soon as Duncan stepped through the front door into the warm summer, I broke into tears. Right when everything was going perfectly, I had to leave it all behind. I already promised Eden we would run away together in search of a better life for the both of us. I could not back our on her now.
I trudged back upstairs and threw myself on my bed. The sheets and pillows smelled like Duncan and sweet love. “Love” I whispered, burying my face in the familiar scent. I considered calling Eden, but she probably had some goodbyes to say too before we left, right?
I reached for the side table drawer and pulled out a tiny glass bottle, uncapping it and shaking out two plain white tablets. I took two aspirin and fell back against the pillow, quickly slipping into a sadness induced sleep.
It felt like minutes after I finally fell asleep, that my phone went off. I reluctantly pried my eyelids apart and reached for the phone. My eyesight was too blurry to read the caller ID, so I answered groggily with a hello.
“Abby?” Eden’s voice came through perfectly clear. “Abby, you need to come get me…” She whispered.
I smeared the sleep from my eyes and toppled onto the floor, grabbing the nearest articles of clothing which just so happened to be Duncan’s shirt I took from his closet and a pair of leather jeans. I quickly tugged them on, ignoring the lack of bra and underwear, and then I raced to the door.
My keys hung on the hook above the counter, but I ignored them and started to run. Before Eden hung up she gave me an address that was fairly close to ours. I recalled her jumping a few fences and cutting a few yards to get there before, so I tried my best to remember which ones.
My eyes were watery as the hot hair rushed past them, my hair trailing behind me like a shadow. I needed to get to my little sister; faster.
